While I can't eat large portions, I don't mind spending good money on good food on occasion. However, what I do choose to spend money on, I'd like to be a quality experience. Yard House always, and I mean ALWAYS delivers. In San Antonio, it was our go-to joint. In Kansas City it's a bit of a drive but totally worth it for a guaranteed great dining experience. I was in Las Vegas recently for work and I of course tried several new to me burger and steak eateries, even tho I was right next to a Yard House. On my last day I ventured into my local Yard House, was immediately seated, and addressed, with drinks in hand shortly after. Fahazia was my meal technician (cuz 'server' is too crass for her expertise). She was kind and professional, not only to me but I noticed to every other table she addressed. You can tell she really enjoys what she's does, and is quite knowledgeable. It's apparent in her recommendations and plate summaries (as if by the chef themselves). In fact all personnel I interacted with were so pleasant and professional, and this is consistent in every YH I've been to. Earlier in the week I had burgers from Guy Fieri's, Gordon Ramsay's, and a few others; all ok, but I wouldn't go back. At YH I got the Aged Whiskey burger, parm truffle fries, and poke nachos. My burger was so juicy and flavorful (to the last bite which is rarely the case with burgers), while the nachos were very fresh and clean; it's was perfect as always. All this and less cost then the other places. Other places attempt variants of YH menu items, but they just can't execute. Don't sleep on YH's menu; they have a little bit of everything for everyone, and all with their unique gourmet spin. It's extremely difficult these days to experience product quality, and consistency, with Happy, Proud, and Professional service, yet YH always steps up and delivers no matter where you go.
