Serving a range of classic cocktails and some house specials (including the "trailer park princess" which consists of apple sauce and two types of rum served in a jam jar) all on two-for-one Sunday to Thursday and before 10:30pm of a weekend (which means £6 for two) along with draught and bottled beers and premium spirits sold by the shot and by the bottle (although who is actually going to pay £100 to have a bottle of Grey Goose brought to their table?) The set-up inside is sleek and contemporary with a regency-esque edge (leather booths and pink chandeliers). The bar staff are friendly enough but understandably spend much of their time dealing with the higher rolling customers. I can't blame them. If someone is going to pay £245 for a bottle of Cristal champagne then what sort of tip will they leave?

This bar (formerly Chaya (formerly Tea Factory (formerly an organ-harvesting clinic *citation needed*))) certainly boasts the right look. As dark as an Eskimo's Christmas and interspersed with eerie blue lights that make you feel like you're trapped under ice and being shone on by emergency services, you can tell the designers put great effort into the decor. It's just a shame the place is full of arseholes. The customers are a dovetailing mix of amateur WAG-impersonator fans and thugs. When I asked for two different cocktails off the 2 for 1 menu I was told by the barman that 'you can't mix and match them'. I'm not a club-owner and never will be, but on a quiet afternoon I can think of no other reason for this than bone idleness on their behalf. What would the brave Inuits think of that?
