Closer to the wedding we had another in-depth call, where we mapped out the entire day together and he made sure to ask about our music preferences at every step (ceremony, cocktail hour, parent dances, first dance, reception music etc). I could tell he puts a lot of thought and care into his work based on the questions he was asking. We also paid extra for his photobooth (and he personally designed a photo strip frame that matched our wedding colors and vibe!) which was worth every penny - it was a hit with our guests all night. They are professional and helpful but still down to earth people that are easy to get along with. You don't want some shmuck walking around taking pictures, but it's important to feel comfortable with your photographers. Our engagement shoot was a great introduction to what it feels like to know a camera is on you, but with Rich and Alyssa behind the lens I didn't feel weird or uneasy. That is probably why I look so fab in all these pics ;) I love the style and look of the photos, but mainly I adore how they capture the day. Even when perusing photos from weddings of people I've never met, I get that feeling of anticipation, excitement, happiness and love. When I was looking through the pictures from my own wedding I felt all those emotions rush over me again, but it was so fun to relive the day in a way I wasn't able to. I loved the shots they took of other friends and family enjoying themselves, the things I didn't see since I was busy being "the bride". These pictures are timeless. I know I will cherish these photos until forever. As a kid I loved seeing pictures of my parents and grandparents in their younger years, and these photos will be exciting for me to show off if I have my own family down the road. They were able to keep her still, get her attention, and get some great photos of her. I also went to them for professional photos that I needed for work. Some of my coworkers went to a different studio and they are all jealous of how my photos turned out! Mike and his team make the sessions comfortable, relaxed, and they have great turn-around time with your photos. You can even stay and see your images the same day to pick out ones you want.
