Do not use. I had a simple oil change completed by a local repair shop, which uses KOI parts. But…read morewhile driving my car a short time later, I had severe engine noise, pulled over and realized there was no oil in the car. After being towed to another repair shop, I was informed that a faulty oil filter installation caused a failure. Fixing the faulty filter was easy enough but my car had suffered engine damage while it ran without oil. After the other repair shop provided full documentation of the issues to the repair shop, I was put in touch with KOI due to the potential parts problem. However, both they and the repair shop quickly became unresponsive and unwilling to help me cover any expenses. I am still attempting to recover these. In short, the simple installation of a faulty part led to a major problem and expense, with little effort on the part of KOI to help me recoup the losses I documented to them.
