Terrible service. I have tried and tried to get automatic refills and they continue not to provide. Their customer service is in India and nearly impossible to get any assistance. They refuse to connect me with anyone local so that I can arrange for the drive way to be open when the truck comes . . . which, by the way, kept no-showing. We sat on the phone for 53 minutes waiting for someone to respond no one ever picked up. We then called in again and waited 47 minutes no one ever picked up. We ultimately spoke with a customer service representative at a call center in the Philippines. These guys don't have bad customer service, they have NO customer service. I've scheduled 3 appointments with them going back over a month. Each time, no one showed up on the agreed time and date, and no one called. Stay away from these people if you possibly can. read more

It is difficult to get dependable service from their out of the country help because their computers keep loosing stored information. Each month for 3 months I have tried to set up auto payments. The stored information kept disappearing! One day soon I hope their computers will be working. read more

I just met with the installer. Service was refused for two reasons. The installer indicated that my system did not have a vent, in the event there was a gas leak in the supply line. The other reason, was that the service location was too far, the tech indicated that it was 130', and they could only provide service beyond 90' due to the length of service hose. If the first reason is true, then there are about another 100 units in my location that are receiving service from Blue Flame. They just serviced units about 2 months or so ago. All the units had the same installer. Therefore, Blue Flame would be in violation of their own safety requirements by servicing those units. I assume that the installations met code at the time and would be grandfathered, I may be wrong. Anyway, they will provide service to, I assume, about 75 units, but not to mine! As for the second reason, 90' service point. A neighbor, in the next unit has a 57 gal tank. He rents it from Blue Flame. He told me that when the tank was down to 5% (which happens about every two years), he would call, and they would come and replace it with a full tank. But, according to the tech, Blue Flame no longer provides that service. My neighbor just had his tank replaced this past fall, after Blue Flame was bought out by, I think, AmeriGas. Additionally, I asked if the tech knew of someone that could move the line, since 'The Beach Company' indicated that they might pay for a location change - the tech did not know of such a service. I had Blue Flame come out to put a generator in ( $12000 job)...12 weeks later finished!! Multiple questions on bill...took 5-10 calls to figure bill out then paid in full. Call to get gas replenished now on a COD basis!!! They are the worst. Travis I guess the manager won't pick up phone all others play stupid. They don't deserve anyone's business. read more

Feb. 19, 2016 I received excellent service today from a technician associated with the Mount Pleasant office of Blue Flame Gas. He relit the pilot light on my gas fireplace, walked me through the steps, demonstrating each, & then, very patiently, let me relight it so I understood the steps perfectly. I wrote down the instructions & he made sure I had it all covered. Many thanks for a knowledgeable, patient, and helpful employee. A totally satisfied customer. read more

Blue Flame provided terrible service in our attempt to install fire logs in our fireplace to generate heat in our home. They removed old logs, installed their product which ended up generating toxic smelling fumes. They said they would work to fix the problem but just came and got their product and did not give us back our old logs which they promised they would. After speaking to the manager over a six month period we finally gave up and now have an empty fireplace. read more
