I live in Boston, but always make a stop here when I come back to visit for the weekend. Even when they're busy, the longest I've ever waited was 10 minutes, and that's rare. I've had my eyebrows hacked to the thickness of a few strands of hair way too many times, so I really appreciate how they pay attention to the natural arch and thickness of my brows. The Salon is bright, airy, and clean. It's also CHEAP! I believe it was 8.50 (possibly 7.50? Sorry, I don't remember exactly! Either way, very inexpensive) for eyebrow threading. Parking is easy to find - with muni-meters on Bell Blvd, or free street parking on the adjacent streets if you don't mind walking just a bit.

The eyebrows were okay but I could barely tell the difference from when I came in. The lady that was working when I went was not too welcoming. She should try to be more warm and inviting. Needs to work on her people skills. When it was time to pay she was quick to ask me about the tip. That is definitely a turn off let me finish paying and then decide how much I want to tip. She didn't even think to mention that there was a reward card available, I had to ask for it. Normally when the eyebrow ladies are done they give you a napkin or even help you clean the hair off your face.. she did not. Don't know if I will be coming back. Might try a different place next time.

I ordered some food before parking from a store a few doors down, picked it up and dropped it off to my car Before I even stepped foot outside my car, I decided to do a little research to see what the reviews said. They were pretty good, so I was a bit more confident in my choice to proceeded to get my eyebrows threaded. The establishment is "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" "just right" in size; not too big and not too small. The lady who did my eyebrows moved so quickly in doing them, that I was getting the feeling that my eyebrows were going to look horrid because surely, one cannot do an impressive job if they're moving so fast....right? I'm glad to say that I was wrong and pleasantly surprised at the outcome. My eyebrows almost looked like twins. I would definitely consider stopping by again if I can convince myself that I'm not cheating on my eyebrow lady because in my experience, a good eyebrow place is hard to come by. It's good to know that I have more than one option now...should I need it.
