I was initially skeptical of the strip mall location but was in dire need of a massage! I found the entry way welcoming and beautifully fragrant. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and did their best to accommodate my walk-in massage request. Unfortunately, they were unable to and I had to return about an hour later. I was experiencing severe neck and shoulder pain, so I was happy to return for a same day appointment. When I returned I was directed to the waiting room in the back area and offered tea or water. Zen music played at the perfect volume. This area was in the same hallway as the massage rooms and it felt like I was in a real deal massage place, not a strip mall location. The massage was one of the best I've had! Veronica asked beforehand what I was mostly concerned with and what type of pressure I prefer. She also checked in during the massage to ensure the table and pressure were both okay. Everyone was professional and helpful. I would love to frequent this place but do not live in the area. I would highly recommend Veronica! I would have given 5 stars but did hear other patrons talking which was a little distracting.

Anyway, they have a couple of really good masseuses that I would wait to get because they applied the right amount of pressure and they would remember what areas of my body needed the most work. The owners wife works there and I'm sorry, but she's not that great. If you want a super soft rub down, she's your girl, but if you want or need pressure, don't let him stick you with her because he does some of the scheduling too when they are busy. As far as the place, it's tranquil and very nice. The masseuses wait for you in the hallway and greet you with a cup of cold water and ask you how are you feeling which is nice because I've been to places where they have a water machine and you're on your own. If I had anything thing bad to say, it would be that you don't get your full hour of massage time. The start from the time you walk in the room and they are asking you questions about what areas would you like them to concentrate on and then you change clothes but your hour has already start so that's about 15 minutes gone. I always wear clothes that I can get off quickly and the masseuses I try to get already know what's going on with me so our conversation is very brief. An hour should be an hour from the time they touch your body not from when you walk in the room.

What a lack of empathy for someone who is 9 months pregnant and cannot make an appointment. My appointment was at 3pm and after I was greeted, I was asked to fill out some paperwork. Afterwards, I waited only a few minutes before my therapist took me back to the room. I'm assuming that after paperwork, a brief trip to the restroom, waiting a moment for the therapist, and getting undressed, my massage began at approximately 3:15 or 3:20 (I was on time at 3pm). I paid for an hour massage, but the therapist stopped at exactly 3:58. This was a surprise to me and I asked the receptionist and she said that the appointment time is the starting time and it ends exactly an hour from then. I don't know if this is standard practice for a massage, but I feel as though I didn't receive what I paid for. All in all, this was a nice place and the staff are nice as well. Unfortunately, what I received was nowhere close to deep tissue--it wasn't even firm pressure. To make matters worse, my 90-minute appointment was cut short. During the session, the therapist repeatedly found reasons to step away. In total, he was out of the room or away from providing treatment for approximately 11 minutes. After the first 60 minutes, I was asked to get up and move to a different room for the final 30-minute foot massage. While I was waiting, the therapist spent time cleaning hot stones and remaking the massage table. Those tasks should be completed between clients--not during a client's paid treatment time. Service should be continuous throughout the scheduled appointment, and 11 minutes of non-treatment time is simply unacceptable. The foot massage itself was especially disappointing and felt like an afterthought. I tried communicating my preferences and even offered feedback on the pressure and technique during the session. As a licensed massage therapist myself, I understand the physical demands of this profession and appreciate the effort that quality bodywork requires. Unfortunately, this session lacked both the pressure and the intentional therapeutic work I specifically requested. Despite my attempts to communicate, my requests were ignored. It feels like they simply tell clients what they want to hear to get them in the door instead of delivering the service they promise. The massage was a complete waste of my time and money. Even though the price was inexpensive, it still wasn't worth it. To top it all off, my credit card was charged three times, and now I have to drive back just to get the billing corrected. This place was awesome...until it wasn't…read more My experience there with staff and most massage therapists have been amazing. The owner, Teresa Fromm, however, is a different story. I switched insurances at the end of July and had a service every day for like 10 days to utilize my benefits. For years I've used my Navia/Flex Spending account to pay my copay. Early September she addresses me loudly from the front desk about how I owe $60 in copays. When I questioned how she stated it was because her staff hadn't run my card so 4 copays went unpaid. I explained my frustration with that because they had always ran my card and that now, the Navia card was turned off. She took no responsibility for her staff and kept saying "well you still need to pay it" as if I said I wouldn't. I was just expressing frustration about her staffs unfortunate bad timing when it came to not doing their job. At one point I said "being in between jobs, unexpected bills are a hardship" to which she loudly said "IT'S ONLY $60". It was embarrassing. When I told her that she was very unprofessional, she said "talking to you is like talking to a trash can" and walked into her office. She then came out and said "FINE I'LL JUST WRITE IT OFF" which again, was embarrassing. I'm not broke. I just wanted some accountability. I was shook. I also tried to be kind and assume she had a bad day. I kept my other appointments, knowing that I rarely had to see her. I like the therapists there but clients are supposed to get 50 minutes of massage but are constantly shorted by their lack of time between clients. It's another frustration there. Then, I came in yesterday and they brought me to a room with a therapist I don't like. I immediately saw this person (who's head was down as they were making the bed) and stepped back from the doorway and said "no" because this wasn't the first time they've tried to put me with that person. It's also not who they told me I would be with when I made the appt. That therapist also never saw me. I ended up seeing someone else for treatment. Afterward my appt., Teresa brought me into her office and IMMEDIATELY yelled at me telling me I was "rude to the therapist" (the first one, whom I never interacted with) and "fired me as a client". I will be filing formal complaints about her through the right channels. In the course of the short interaction she said "there are 5 therapists that won't work with you here!" News to me, especially since I see the same people repeatedly. Seems if I was such a problematic client, a conversation should have been had a LONG time ago. I also typically see the same people over and over so...I knew she wasn't being honest. I believe that she's just been waiting since the money situation to come for me. I have every right not to be forced to get a massage by someone I do not like. Teresa is incredibly unprofessional for expecting me to just shut up and accept it. I know her staff apologized to me for the outburst about the money...it was cringe to hear someones staff have to be embarrassed for their boss. That said... Many of the therapists are great there but I would avoid putting money in this woman's pocket. To be demeaning and hurtful to clients is never ok and as the owner she should be setting the example for professionalism. Instead she's rude, loudly embarrassing and unprofessional. Go somewhere else if you can.

After I was done changing and getting on the table, the massage therapist came back in and casually said that while in the break room he was talking to the other massage therapists and they said they all felt bad that he had to do a prenatal massage and that "they hate when they have to give prenatal massages". For the massage I needed to lay on my side as expected because of pregnancy. And while it was a comfortable position, he only massaged half of my body. Never turned to the other side and he said this is the way prenatal massages are done. I didn't really realize how bad the experience was until I told my doctor and saw how shocked she was. Thankfully she won't be referring to this location anymore. If you're not pregnant I'm sure this place is great. But if you're pregnant I highly recommend finding a different place.
