This company scammed me out of $600 in March telling me I owed a past due bill from the previous…read moreowner. I contacted the previous owner and he said he had already paid it. Sketchy right. 4 months go by and I contact them for a hood cleaning as an act of good faith. They tell me the cost was $460. I then told them I would like to shop around because my personal friend quoted me $300 but soon left the hood cleaning company he was working for. While shopping around I found they had a great price so I then contacted them about a date and time I could have my hoods cleaned. They raised the price to $510. This is just the beginning... I agreed to their price and scheduled an appointment. Later that week my motor went out. I let their admin know. Her name was Dina. She sent out Jose (the owner) and this information was never relayed to Jose. He went to the guy on shift and told him it would be a $125 for repairs. Dina messaged me saying the belt needed to be replaced. I was confused because I specifically told her the motor needed replaced and I assumed they would replace the belt too. Dina did not respond. Jose went ahead and only fixed the belt and once he was done he went to my employee and asked for $225 now. Confused but compliant my employee wrote them a check. The next day I had to close my restaurant down due to the motor being broken and smoke filling my entire restaurant. I then called Dina back to ask another electrician to come out and replace the motor. They said they could have a guy come out in two days at 10am but the price would be $875. I asked politely if I could take off the $225 I had already paid due to Dina and Jose miscommunication but they said no. Now I'm paying $1,100 instead of $875 but I was desperate so I complied even though I was extremely frustrated by this sketchy company. Two days later, I already had an appointment for a hood cleaning at 6 am. This guy never cleaned the hoods and claims no one was there. So to start my day the hoods don't get cleaned as planned. No big deal things happen and I reschedule for two days later at 6 am. My next appointment of the day was scheduled for 10am in which Jose was supposed to replace the motor for the hood vents. Jose shows up at 10 am alright however, he says he has the wrong motor (even though I sent a picture of the make and model to Dina 2 days prior) and he has to go get the right motor. He then tells me a guy will come at 3 to replace motor even though they knew I was closing my restaurant because of this issue and it was urgent! Their guy comes at 2 pm and I thought my issues would finally be solved! I would be able to open my business right?! Not quite, this new guy is named Hector (from Hector's electric services LLC) and he says it's too hot outside to complete the work and he would be able to come back after dark. After strong worded phone calls with Dina and Jose. My conclusion was that Hector would return at 5pm or Jose would sell me his motor for $400 or I could find my own guy to install the motor. Funny thing is Jose was upset and said I wouldn't find a guy to install this motor even though I told him I had an electrician friend. My friend shows up at 4:45 and and I was done waiting. I had him install Jose motor as agreed to and I was all set. My restaurant opened and I was good right?! Again, not quite. I call Jose to relay the news that my guy has come and his guy never showed up. This call took place around 5:39pm. Jose is upset which is understandable but he tries to make me pay his guy for the work he didn't do. I told him I'd pay him $400 as agreed and he has the audacity to try to charge me $100 extra because he said he needs to pay his electrician. I refused and we ended the call on good terms and I am still scheduled for a hood cleaning in two days time at 6 am. Today is that day and it is now 10:30am and no one showed up! Dina and Jose have not answered any of my calls or text! A&S hood cleaning is the worst company I have dealt with personally and professionally! Please do not use them because I would hate for this sketchy company to hurt anyone else's business!!!!

He explained the process every step of the way, was transparent about costs, and they were even able to assist us with some water damage issues to prevent any further mold/damage. We are so happy we have hot water, and Craig the owner was super professional and friendly throughout the process. It's nice to finally have a plumber we can trust.

UPDATED REVIEW: Looks like i got a notification from Yelp today…read more I'll update my review and chime in a little here. (Original review below) under plumbing response team/pros. This is in addition to my original review which still is standing. This will also serve as evidence toward the overall case. Looks like plumbing response team, and plumbing response pros. Are under the same ownership. Today the owner 5/7/2025 decided to undergo yelp name change bypassing Yelps screening, for " guarenteed by Yelp"! Yes Yelp this ones for you to see as we discussed ;) looks like the owner Craig Heaps is name changing his profile /business name over to Plumbing pros now. If you see my two attached photos here you can clearly see it's the same person avoiding problems on yelp. By changing their names. For the public's knowledge, if you see the entity change from plumbing response team, or plumbing response Pro , or Plumbing response Wiz or plumbing squad or plumbing pros this is all one owner under he name listed in my original review. I was actually private messaged by other reviewers showing me threatening messages and saying they gave wrong information. I am here to show proof if needed of all his entities and llc name changes. It seems like he is trying to threaten others in private messages. So let this be public known and if any other reviewers have been threatened by Craig heaps to send me a message for more detail discussion. I have an open case and the proper channels are being worked. I have also updated my photos to disclose proof he's same person under different Yelp accounts however, if you need llc history documents message me for open case number and you can add your involvement to the case if see fit. ****Original*** review This company is a scam, they reopen their business under new names plumbing response team llc and plumbing response Pros. Craig Heaps is the owners of this company and likes to increase his "scope of work". He offered to exchange out some old ball valves on my main water line and update the system with a prv in exchange for some yelp reviews to help his business. I can see why now. However upon arrival he instantly wanted to open an insurance claim up and then told me he would generate invoices so I would get money back in my pocket while his work would be free too. Well ya money back in my pocket that sounded great! I listened and was like whoa you can do that legally then yeah sign me up for some money right? Wrong, people who don't understand insurance they increase damage on paper and in this case to your house without permission and behind your back insurance I guess cuts the contractor a check. So that contractor might get like 20 grand for a two grand job. Craig went on to mention I'll just create some invoices for you and submit them to your insurance, you will get a check and I'll get paid out to meaning both of us customer and him. Let's fast forward We'll skip ahead a million, I found out that's fraud and after dealing with this plumber and the setup he gave me the illegal setup of a garden hose, when my system was working perfectly fine before he touched it. I simply just wanted updated ball valves and in this case free in exchange for a review, well now I have a compromised main copper line and a garden hose connecting the two together. So now I have contact my insurance and let them know I was mislead and mis understood how the insurance side worked and wanted to close that claim after finding out shady practice was being done. Also in Arizona it is illegal to be a non ROC plumber working on main systems. As well as any 1,000$ work orders or higher. Craig had said e rights multiple invoices for under 1 grand to stay in compliance for that though. I would like yelp to ban this guy from ever listing on help again as this person will be getting prosecuted from my side of things. Police attorney general and my own attorney will have this guy hopefully locked up so the rest of you do not have to worry. In the mean time yelp, please reach out to me as this violates many of your guidelines.
