If this was the LAST salon ON EARTH you can find to do a blowout... I'd say just embrace your…read morecurls, frizz... whatever. This salon RUINED my thick curly hair with a blowout. I had the kind of curls that people would stop me on the street, down below my bra line... after this blowout, I had to cut six inches off my hair ... and I STILL have straight pieces (pictures below.) I made an appointment for 4:10pm, Saturday 10/18/25 (I wanted 4:30, but Arielle said that was too late.) so I showed up at 4pm, and waited until 4:35! For my blowout with Glaucia (I didn't complain ... not about waiting, or EVEN WHEN SHE BURNED MY SCALP WITH THE BLOWDRYER.) Blowout looked pretty good, I left it in for a week, until Saturday 10/25/25. Went to yoga, where I kept smelling sulfur (turned out it was MY HAIR...) So I went home and washed it. AND NO CURLS. I FREAKED OUT!!! 40 years of occasional blowouts... NEVER BEFORE!! Have my curls not come back immediately after washing!) So, I think... maybe I just need to wash it again on Sunday (the next day...) a little more curls in the middle and six inches of straight'tails.' And all straight around my face. On Monday I was freaking out... I just moved here and had a job interview... thank GOD, I found Khaliman Salon (the curl whisperer.) he came in on his DAY OFFF!! He said it was severe heat damage; cut the 6 inches off And told me I'd need to cut more (which is true.) From there, I went to my interview and then to Blowout To Paris. The other young lady who was there the day I got my blowout gasped when she saw me... 'what happened to your long hair?' I said: you guys burnt it and I had to cut it. 'Let me give you a treatment! She says... 'Please! Deep condition...?' ME: 'No, I said... I really don't want you guys to touch my hair again; I want to speak to the owner.' Got Arielle on the phone, (the manager? Turns out she and her husband Ron actually OWN the salon.) I told her the whole story/ situation... said' your stylist ruined my hair; all I want is a refund.' 'You're trying to shake me down!' She says... 'Why didn't you come here first?' (Because I had an interview and was on a time budget and didn't want my hair ruined further, maybe?) In the meantime, her husband Ron (who's listed as the owner in Florida records) swears he isn't... yall, crazy town...is there the THIRD time I stop in. He tells me a story... that my hair couldn't be heat damaged... he'd even TRIED that with a client he didn't like in Israel!! 'And it didn't work .' (I will tell this story under oath!) Lordddd... crazy town indeed. FINALLY, they agree to give me a refund, 3 weeks later after multiple visits and phone calls: by now, I'm angry. I said 'what about the $150 haircut I had to get?' I admit to using salty language.. and 6 weeks later, NOTHING. If Arielle IS indeed the owner, she's never there. Their employees don't know what they're doing. Run like the wind. Bottom line: 1) Hair (and scalp) burnt to a crisp. 2) had to cut 6 inches off my hair for $150. 3) no apology, no refund... treated like a lowlife when I asked for my money back. 4) Ron flat out lied to me about owning the salon (repeatedly.) Arielle' works from home' and is never there. 5)... AGAIN, no even ATTEMPTS to rectify the situation. I have NEVER written a review like this in my life. I was raised 'don't say anything if you have nothing good to say.' But these people need to not be in business. Avoid at all costs... curly girls, go see Khaliman in Boca for everything curly, including blowouts!!

The hairstylist worked her magic and my hair felt light and airy. She took her time with the shampooing and conditioning. Day of appointment and for a wedding first two girls one with regular updo and make up and the other with braid and make up According to printed sign in salon(not even what we were quoted) updo 89.00 and make up 75.00 = $164.00 charged 204.09 no detailed receipt given at time of check out told would be sent clearly overcharged but first girl paid Second girl Braid and make up, instagram contest winner "Free Make up" so just to pay for hair styled dry in a braid first told 122.00 by the OWNER paid 100.00 just to get out and get to wedding What I have not told you is the argument the OWNER herself who tried to lie and say she was just the manager stating the girls hair were not normal hairdos. Stating the had been in girls chair for more than the 15 minute blow out. Repeating 15 minutes several times when question about updo she stated it wasn't normal updo however it was. Girl asked well what would an 89.00 updo look like quote owner replied "I don't even know why you are still talking I already addressed you" all the while arguing with girl two that she didn't just have a braid and needed to just pay and leave. I've been a client of Cloud 10 for the past 10 years whenever I visit Delray from New York, and…read moreoverall I've had positive experiences. The stylists are talented and consistently do a great job, which is why this situation was so disappointing. I had booked appointments for myself and my 3-year-old daughter--a dry style and a kids blowout--because we had a mother/daughter beach photo session scheduled. Unfortunately, due to a poor weather forecast, our photos were rescheduled to the following day. I called to see if it would be possible to move our appointments to Monday, but was told the salon is closed. I then asked if we could switch to other services, like pedicures or waxing, since getting our hair done before a day of swimming (on Monday) would be a complete waste of time and money, not to mention unnecessary heat styling. I was told only hair stylists were available and no alternatives could be offered. I also asked if I could receive a credit for a future appointment and still be charged that day, but this request was denied as well. I understand and respect the need for cancellation policies. However, these were two concurrent 30-minute appointments, and the complete lack of flexibility--even for a long-time, loyal client--was disappointing. I was told there were no exceptions and that I would be charged in full. As someone who has frequented this business for a decade, I would have hoped that loyalty might carry some weight. It feels short-sighted to risk losing a long-standing customer over two 30-minute services. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my perception, and I won't be returning to Cloud 10 in the future.
