First, when I book an hour massage and include 2 add ons (dry brush and foot scrub), I don't expect them to be bundled within my one hour massage. It should be an hour massage plus the add-ons. My girlfriend was fine with hers (except for reason above), but 2 issues with mine. First, Kaitlyn did ask me if I wanted any area to have special attention and I said my scalp. Just before the massage ended, I think she may have massaged my scalp for a minute. Second thing: my entire massage was with me face down. My girlfriend was asked to roll over, but I remained face down the entire hour. I have never had an hour massage when only one side was treated. Despite that, I gave them each a $20 tip for their time, but neither of us are inclined to return. And if you are thinking they must have been busy that day, no. There was no one in the waiting area when we arrived and one person walked in when we were leaving. I emailed the owner to share this (not requesting a refund but as a head's up) and never heard back.

I had a 60 minute Swedish Massage with Elle at Body of Needs Spa yesterday and have finally found my new MT and Spa home!! The experience begins with being welcomed by their delightful receptionist who offered me water and had me fill out their very detailed intake form that asks everything from specific areas of focus, lotion or oil preference, amount of pressure and all the things your MT needs to tailor your massage. Elle came out to get me and brought me in to a very tranquil treatment room. There is a whiteboard on the wall and Elle used it to note where I wanted her to focus, any thing that was important to me for my massage and then she stepped out so that I could undress. As she started the massage, the pressure was a little lighter than I wanted so I told her and she immediately adjusted. She really worked on my problem areas and gave a great full body massage!! I'm a little sore today, but in the best possible way!! I immediately scheduled my next appointment with Elle as soon as I got in the car; a 90 minute this time,. Their online booking makes it so easy to book, reschedule, or cancel your appointment. Needless to say Elle and Body of Needs are my new go to!!

The room was relaxing with the proper lighting and music. The table was heared. Prices were reasonable. I am happily sore and feel much better! I will absolutely be back to see Mackenzie again!!! I asked numerous times to have the door closed. I felt uncomfortable with the door being open during my massage. Overall, I would say the massage itself was ok but it lacked certain things that the owner can improve on.

In addition, I thought it was very unprofessional for the masseuse to tell what tip I should leave and insisting I make an appointment for next time. A tip is a very private thing, in my opinion, and at the end of what should be a relaxing experience, having someone tell you what they are expecting you to leave only makes things awkward. Not my style. Because of these two issues, I wouldn't recommend it or be back. Massage itself was good, but if you can't communicate easily with what aches you, it lessens the experience. Just my .02 cents of course, and maybe your experience will be different. Just wanted to be aware.

They offered different methods of massage therapy (like trigger point therapy, ashiatsu oriental bar therapy), have convenient hours, reasonably priced, friendly therapist, and it was really close to my house. Problem was that the massages I had really were not very good. I had two massages with Jessica. Though I told her that I preferred deep pressure, I honestly did not feel anything on my back, even during my ashiatsu massage. I felt like she held back. I asked her to do trigger point treatment prior to my appointment. After my appointment, she told me that another therapist at the place did that technique. She was very sweet and down-to-earth though. During my first massage, my room was next to the door. In the middle of the massage, a bunch of chatty Cathy's barged in for some reason and would not shut up. The sounded like teenaged soccer players. This temporarily disrupted my massage. Another problem was that the sheets on the massage smelled and looked old, and outdated. I agree with another reviewer that it looked more like a doctor's office than a spa. I would maybe come back if I tried a different therapist. I have had better massages with Groupon deals which was ironic because many of the not-so-fantastic treatments advertise on Groupon.
