Our baby girl Sol. The biggest thank you to our incredible doula, Amanda at @blossomingbabiesdoula, for being our calm through every unexpected twist and turn. Blossoming Babies - Doulas Near Me

Where do I even start? I found Amanda immediately when I found out I was pregnant. I made a couple virtual appointments with doulas in my area, but Amanda was first. After we talked for over an hour, I cancelled my other appointments. I knew we were a good fit for each other and I loved everything she stood for and the knowledge she had! I was also very interested in Hypnobirthing. My husband and I truly enjoyed her Hypnobirthing courses. We both learned so much about women's bodies and how we are designed to birth babies. She made the classes memorable and not boring at all and she always provided you with material to take home yourself. Amanda was so good at checking in with us and even came to our house a few times to go over everything before birth. She always made us so comfortable and confident! She helped us with questions we had about our birth plan, and even though my birth plan sort of went out the window, she was still there with her presence and knowledge to guide me through. I truly don't think I could have done this without her support (and my husband of course) they were the BEST team for me. She was simply amazing through it all, especially my birth. Constantly checking on me, massaging me, talking through things with me. And she never once made me feel any type of way for the decisions I made. I truly could not have picked a better support person than Amanda. I'm eternally grateful for her. read more

From the moment we chose Amanda, we knew we made the right decision but we had no idea just how life-changing her presence would be. My birth didn't go exactly how I had envisioned. I reached a point where I needed intervention, and that was not part of my original plan. But at no point did I feel like I had failed and that is because of Amanda. She never judged, never pressured, and never made me feel anything but supported. She met me exactly where I was, honoring every decision I made with compassion and strength. Because of her teachings and especially her hypnobirthing classes I was able to handle contractions and even the pushing process in a way I truly don't think would have been possible otherwise. She prepared me not just for the "ideal" birth, but for the reality that birth is unpredictable. I felt informed, grounded, and empowered to expect the unexpected. She didn't just support me she equipped both my husband and me with the knowledge and confidence to advocate for ourselves. She always provided us with information, never opinions, so we could make decisions that felt right for our family. And then there was the moment I will never forget. During labor, a few unexpected things happened not serious, but enough to cause fear. My husband, who had prepared so much, suddenly felt overwhelmed and unsure. I could see the panic in him. Amanda came to check on me, but she immediately sensed where my attention was on him. Without hesitation, she asked if I wanted her to go to him. I said yes, and she did. In the middle of everything, she became his calm. She reassured him, explained what was happening, and grounded him in a way I couldn't in that moment. I watched his fear soften. He was still concerned, but no longer lost. That kind of support... you can't teach that. That's who she is. Amanda wasn't just our doula she became family. She advocated for my birth plan, stood by us in every moment, and created a space where I felt safe, strong, and supported no matter how things unfolded. Looking back, I truly believe my labor and delivery experience would have been completely different without her. I am forever grateful that God placed her in our lives during such a sacred time. Hiring Amanda was one of the best decisions we've ever made and I would recommend her 110% without hesitation read more

I cannot recommend Amanda enough! I originally found Amanda through her Hypnobirthing class, and after taking her class, I knew I wanted her by my side as my doula when it was time to give birth. Her Hypnobirthing classes were incredibly educational, informative, and empowering. She taught me so much about birth, my body, and different techniques to help me feel calm, confident, and prepared. I truly feel like taking her class made such a positive difference in my birth experience, and I would recommend her classes to every expecting mom! When it came time to give birth, having Amanda there was absolutely amazing. She kept me calm when I needed it most, constantly supported and encouraged me, and made me feel safe and confident throughout the entire experience. She was also an incredible advocate for me and made sure my needs and wishes were heard and respected. I'm so grateful I found Amanda and chose her to be part of such a special and important moment in my life. She went above and beyond, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better doula. Amanda truly is a gift from God. Being a doula is her calling in life and I couldn't have gone through labor the way I did without her. She kept me grounded and focused. The entire time during labor she cheered me on, and gave me the support I needed. Amanda reminded me just how strong women can be. She's extremely educated on anything you ask her and will give you the facts to back it up. I never felt shame throughout my pregnancy from her or when my birth plan changed during labor. She always reminded me she was just a call away & she was always available for me. She's extremely down to earth and birthing babies is her vibe. In the hospital, after labor things got hectic and I hemorrhage very bad, she continued to keep it cool by remaining professional in an extremely uncertain and stressful situation. Amanda was my rock in every way. I would have an unlimited amount of babies just to do labor again with her by my side. I can't say enough good things about her. I will never forget her and it was an honor to have her beside me while welcoming my miracle baby. I want to also mention I did her hypnobirthing classes and they were absolutely worth it. She brings in several guest speakers, you receive lots of reading material, audio tapes, she answers all your questions in class, you learn breathing techniques, and all the things about labor. During class she taught me it's okay to ask questions, consent matters, I was meant for this, and all about my options during labor. I would firmly suggest doing the classes. They helped me during labor in the best way and are what seal the deal to set you up for a successful labor. Above all my favorite part was when she lead us in prayer before labor really started to kick start and she ended the day with prayer as well. You won't regret having her as you doula. Thanks again Amanda. read more

This was my first time having a doula, and I can honestly say that choosing Amanda was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. As a first time mom, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can feel overwhelming and scary because there is so much information, uncertainty, and so many things you don't know until you experience them yourself. Amanda completely changed that experience for me. Because of her knowledge, guidance, and support, I felt confident, prepared, and empowered instead of scared to give birth. From the very first interview my husband and I had with Amanda, she provided us with so much valuable information. I learned so much just from that first meeting, and we hadn't even hired her yet! You can immediately tell how passionate Amanda is about her work and how much she genuinely loves educating and supporting families. One of my favorite things about working with Amanda was how involved she was throughout my entire pregnancy. She gave me stretches to practice daily, along with visuals to make sure I understood them, helped me create my birth plan, and educated me about my rights so I could advocate for myself during labor. Amanda also offers a hypnobirthing class, which I HIGHLY recommend. This class completely changed my mindset about birth. I had always been scared of giving birth, but Amanda helped me understand that birth does not have to be something to fear. She taught me techniques to stay calm, grounded, and confident throughout the process. The class helped me trust my body and understand that our bodies are capable of giving birth. It truly helped me feel prepared rather than fearful. When my water broke, I immediately notified Amanda. She was so excited for me and calmly walked me through what to do and what to expect. During my labor, Amanda was there the entire time. She supported me, motivated me, encouraged me, helped me manage contractions, and cheered me on through pushing. I had planned to have a natural birth, and with Amanda's support, I was able to achieve my dream birth. I truly don't think I could have done it with the same confidence without her. Another thing I really appreciate about Amanda is the incredible amount of resources she provides. She has connections and recommendations for pelvic floor specialists, placenta encapsulation, midwives, and so many other professionals and resources that can support you throughout pregnancy and postpartum. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone who is pregnant, especially first-time moms. She made me feel confident, knowledgeable, prepared, and empowered throughout the entire process. She was so much more than just a doula she was an educator, advocate, motivator, and constant source of support. Amanda, thank you for helping me believe in myself and my body and for helping me achieve the birth I dreamed of. I am so grateful I had you by my side! read more

Going into my first pregnancy, I set a goal for a natural, unmedicated delivery. As someone who doesn't consider myself to have a high pain tolerance, I knew I needed the right tools to prepare both my mind and body. I interviewed several doulas, but after meeting Amanda, I knew she was the perfect fit for me. Amanda's knowledge and experience far exceeded the other doulas I spoke with. She was well-versed in spinning babies and Hypnobirthing, which gave me the tools I needed to feel confident and prepared throughout my pregnancy. She was always available, answering even my silly questions with patience and reassurance. She helped me solidify my birth preferences and made sure I understood the pros and cons of each option, empowering me to make informed choices. When my water broke and things didn't go exactly as planned, Amanda's expertise really shone through. I had to make some difficult decisions that I hadn't anticipated, and throughout it all, she kept me confident that I was making the right choices for me and my baby. She gave me the facts, helping me navigate the pressure and fear-mongering that can sometimes come from hospital staff. During labor, Amanda guided me through different positions to help things progress and provided coping mechanisms to manage the pain. Her presence created a calming atmosphere in the hospital room, and her reassurance made me feel like I was almost there. One of the things I'm most grateful for is how Amanda advocated for me when I couldn't advocate for myself. This was, for me, the most important role a doula can play--and Amanda exceeded all my expectations. Even after my delivery, Amanda helped me process the experience, offering insight and understanding that I wouldn't have had without her support. I honestly cannot recommend Amanda enough. I wouldn't have been able to achieve an unmedicated birth without her. She is truly living out the calling God has on her life , and it's clear she has a deep passion for what she does. If you're considering hiring a doula, hire Amanda. Her pricing is affordable, and she's worth every single penny. read more

My wife and I used Amanda's doula services and also attended her HypnoBirthing classes. In the beginning, I wasn't sure if we really needed a doula, but after meeting Amanda, any doubts I had quickly disappeared. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. She took the time to answer all of our questions, and whenever we reached out to her throughout the pregnancy, she responded promptly and provided helpful information and sources to back up her recommendations. As a first-time dad, I wasn't always sure what my role would be during labor or how I could best support my wife. Amanda made me feel much more prepared and confident. When we needed her at the hospital, she arrived promptly and immediately stepped in to support us. She coached me on different ways to comfort my wife, showed me how I could help during contractions, and made sure I stayed involved rather than feeling like I was standing on the sidelines. Throughout labor, Amanda was calm, reassuring, and incredibly supportive. She was there for my wife every step of the way while also helping me understand what I could do to be the best support person for her. She helped me feel capable and involved in the entire experience. Looking back, I'm extremely glad we decided to have Amanda as our doula. She did an amazing job, and having her there made such a difference for both of us. I went from questioning whether we needed a doula at all to being very grateful that she was part of the birth of our daughter. We are so grateful for the Hypnobirthing class with Amanda. Amanda is an amazing educator. As a first time mom, we had very little knowledge going into what to expect with the birth of our baby. She gave us lots of tips based on her experience as a doula in addition to the hypnobirthing techniques. She made us feel prepared and confident for the birth of our baby girl. We highly recommend working with Amanda in any capacity you can! read more

TLDR: She's AMAZING, work with her. Do it. :) A++++++. A for Amanda and A for AMAZING! She is nothing short of wonderful, kind, thoughtful, generous, and so much more! We were so grateful to have her on our birth team! This was our first baby, and having Amanda in our corner eased our minds going into our home birth so much. She was incredibly thorough, walking us through the lead-up to the birth several different times, and when the big show arrived, she was right there with us. It gave me such peace of mind knowing that any time of the day, if I had questions or worries, I could just reach out to someone I knew cared. Knowing she was a Christian, like we are, brought us a bigger bonus, so being able to pray together was a great comfort! (Of course, if you're not, NOT TO WORRY, she supports and respects YOU and YOUR birth plan, however that may look). Our baby boy decided to show up early, and it was so nice to have someone to review things with before everything began. I wasn't sure if my water had broken, so she promptly came over and did a strip test to confirm it had, and then proceeded to give us an idea of what we should be doing next. It was a great comfort because in that moment, we didn't feel ready or prepared, and Amanda really put us at ease. After the baby came, she was so helpful, going above and beyond! She ran to the grocery store for us and got us some things to get us by, which is honestly a gesture I think about all the time, because it truly saved us! She also made it a point to take SO MANY photos and videos of everything, and we are SO GRATEFUL for that! Who needs a professional birthing photographer when you have an amazing doula on your side! BONUS: She now teaches hypnobirthing!! Now we had completed our hypnobirthing class in Orange County before even considering hiring a doula, so we didn't get the opportunity to take her class, but I KNOW that Amanda puts 10000% effort into anything she does for her clients, so I guarantee her class IS THE CLASS TO TAKE if you're considering it for your birthing experience! (Plus I think she's the only one, or one of the few, Inland!!) 2nd Bonus: She offers separate postpartum doula services as well (up to 12 weeks), so if you need help with breastfeeding, chores, cooking, etc, this girl has got your back! Long story short- this is a woman you want on your team! read more

Amanda was everything I hoped for in a doula and more! From the start, she stood out because she actually met with me in person. She was so warm, sweet, and genuine. She even came to our home for a prep class, which was perfect since I wasn't feeling up to going out during pregnancy. On delivery day, she created the exact calming vibe I wanted with dim lighting, soft music, and a peaceful atmosphere. With her constant support, I was able to go through labor without an epidural, just the way I had hoped for. She made me feel safe, strong, and cared for the entire time. Even after baby arrived, she checked in multiple times and even came by for a home visit. Amanda truly goes above and beyond, I couldn't recommend her more! read more

This review may be late, but I wanted to take my time to write it because Amanda truly deserves every word of gratitude. She will always be someone I remember when I think back on my birthing experience. When I began looking for a doula, I interviewed at least ten different doulas. I knew exactly what I hoped to find. I wanted someone compassionate yet firm, someone who could advocate for me while also feeling like a steady, grounding presence. Out of everyone I spoke with, Amanda was the one I immediately felt a deep connection with. She did not feel like just a doula. From the very beginning, she felt like family. I took her hypnobirthing classes, and they prepared me in ways I did not even realize I needed. The tools she gave me stayed with me throughout my entire labor and delivery. One of the things that touched me most was how Amanda went out of her way to accommodate me and my family. Even though she usually serves the Inland Empire area, she still agreed to support me at a hospital outside her coverage because she genuinely cared. That kind of dedication is rare. My labor was long and challenging. My delivery ended up being very different from what I expected because of complications and the size of my baby. Through every moment, Amanda never left my side. Her presence made it feel like I had known her my whole life. That is how deeply she cared and how committed she was to making sure I delivered my baby safely. Even when things become unpredictable, she remains steady and advocates for you. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Amanda was not just part of my birth experience. She became part of a chapter of my life that I will remember forever. I feel so blessed to have had her support, her kindness, and her unwavering presence. Thank you so much Amanda read more

We are so grateful to have had Amanda by our side. From the very beginning, she supported us in achieving the birth we truly desired--a natural, unmedicated birth. Her Hypnobirthing course was invaluable and gave me the tools to stay calm and confident throughout labor. Thanks to her guidance, I was able to breathe my baby down smoothly and without complications. Her deep knowledge and experience were evident in every moment. She not only helped ensure my baby was in the right position for delivery but also guided my husband in how to best support me during labor, which made the experience even more empowering and connected for both of us. I truly believe that my birth would not have been as successful or as positive without her. I cannot recommend Amanda enough--she is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and supportive doula who makes all the difference! read more

Cannot say enough positive things about Amanda! We didn't decide we wanted a doula until around 26 weeks and we got connected with Amanda through Breezy Doula. From our first meeting, i knew Amanda was going to be the perfect fit for us. She is kind, gentle, and knows so much about the female body and how to get baby in the best position. She gave me stretches to do throughout my pregnancy, in labor she helped get baby in optimal position because our little girl was transverse, and she coached me through pushing our girl out. My labor was so smooth and pain free (partly because the epidural, but i truly think having Amanda made all the difference!) read more

Amanda was my doula for my last birth and I don't know what I would have done without her there! Prior to the birth, we met several times and talked often where she (oh so patiently) answered my hundreds of questions. She helped me come up with my birth preferences and printed it in a great format to give to the L&D nurses/doctors at the hospital. At my birth, she advocated for me through every step, encouraged me, and helped me through breastfeeding after delivery. I had the most incredible drug-free labor and delivery, very much due to her support. My husband loved how she showed him ways to support me and encourage me too. She truly focused on being family-centered. Our postpartum meeting was super helpful because she showed me more tips and tricks for breastfeeding and some sleeping tricks for my baby (cause this mama was TIRED)! I could not recommend Amanda and Blossoming Babies more! read more
