I am convinced that this place is selling tainted carts ones with Fentanyl. I am in recovery and usually go over state lines to get my medicine from a dispensary but I fell short last month and had a week or so until I went back to Michigan so I went to find something (delta or whatever you guys have here) That would hold me over until that trip . I get tested weekly in my recovery program and the DAY after I bought that vape I popped positive for fentanyl . Cart didn't even do much but it may be just enough to keep the average joe hooked and coming back for more of "their" carts. I am 36 I am not a child and I have been around a few times in this world . I am going to get to the bottom of it. There is NOTHING worse to me than a dealer taking advantage of their clients . I'll be back but it's to get to the bottom of this place. I feel like if this is going on and I saw it I need to say something . I wouldn't just put myself on the line for nothing or waste my time doing so but as a recovering addict I can't NOT say anything . Take this warning as just that and please use your noggin going into these places. Michigan is official and tested so just do yourself the favor and drive to get your cannabis . While I've enjoyed the service and selection at the Walnut location before, I had an interaction tonight that has made me change my mind about this location. I bought a cart, trusting that this location would stock relatively safe items. When I took it home, I double-checked the lab before opening it, just to confirm this. Unfortunately, the lab seemed to be missing several essential elements, and I deemed it suspicious, so I decided to check if the store would be able to help. When I came back, there was no signage indicating if they took exchanges or returns, so I decided to ask an employee. While she was polite at first and able to tell me they do not take either and asking what the problem was, and was kind enough to offer a new discounted product upon explanation, she became rude after this part of the interaction. When I asked a few clarifying questions, including about if there were exceptions to their policy if I still had my receipt and the product was unopened, as well as confirming the new product would be an additional purchase, she acted frustrated with me, treating me as if I was slow. She also made fun of my decision to trust a purchase from the store, and also seemed to think I was simply changing my mind about wanting the product rather than being concerned about potential danger and valuing my money. Additionally, she was smoking from a vape inside the shop and blew smoke almost directly in my face during this interaction, including just before being rude to me. All in all, there are absolutely smoke shops with better customer service even within less than a block of this shop, so I will likely not be returning to this location anytime soon. read more

I bought a vape that was not working properly. I've gone back several times. The coils just don't work half the time. I have driven half an hour several times to get it corrected with no results. I went in today after waiting a week for the coils and they gave me the wrong ones and they don't work. When I called and said it was probably the vape the told me I could just being them back for s refund and go some where else. I spent 50 on the vape and 20 on coils that only half worked then another 40 on more coils that are wrong. To get tewated like that was just terrible. Besides spending 40 each time on juice. That is more than I'd spend on cigarettes. This place is a joke. Now I have to drive 30 minutes again just to return the coils and have no coils. Bad bad bad for business. Guess college kids just buy the cartridges. read more

I spent $160 at Btown Smoke Time because I needed a new Vape Rig. From the start it was clear that their staff was unhelpful and unknowledgable. For starters, they forgot to sell me a battery for the $110.00 device i purchased. When I returned the next day, they sold me a battery. The WRONG size battery. When I returned a 3rd time, they sold me what they "thought" was the correct battery, but my brand new device STILL didn't work correctly. So the attendant said "yeah, it does seem like something is wrong with the device, but that is between you and the manufacturer." So, basically even though I had just spent $160.00 in their shop the previous day, they were not willing to exchange the device for another one, or really work with me in any reasonable way. So, I walked across the corner to WILD SIDE Smoke Shop. I explained to them my problem. Their helpful staff very quickly determined that Btown Smoke Time not only sold me one wrong battery, but TWO (And then told me it was "my problem"). The knowledgeable associate at Wild Side showed me the correct size battery for my device, I installed it, and the device then worked perfectly. I will be giving ALL of my future business to Wild Side Smoke Shop, and I inhale a LOT of nicotine vapor. Plus, I am a small business owner in Bloomington, and I plan to spread the word to ALL of my family, friends and colleagues who vape, smoke, etc to avoid Btown Smoke Time like the plague. read more
