I thoroughly enjoyed all the days, sunsets & hours spent at the driving range practicing This place is just beautiful & so conveniently located close to home. Workers here are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Special shoutout to Sal for going through the extra trouble of locating a more suitable club for me when I wasn't really happy about the one they initially gave (& also bringing it right up to me at the range!) The driving range is pretty spacious & there are plenty (although it does get more crowded later on in the day). There are a few target practicing flags on the range as well. I bombarded them with questions over email, they didn't leave a single one unanswered, they were quick to respond and very accommodating. The patience in answering multiple emails, questions and follow up questions is how I knew my experience here would be good. The good - The alcoholic drink options were okay, the variety wasn't large but the cocktails and mocktails were good. Food was good too. The karaoke was a bit confusing to navigate at first but we got the hang of it. There's something for everyone here and coming in a large group definitely made it worth it.

But they were a little too quick to clear the tables that they took away someone's photo booth photos before those people came back to the table to claim their photos. They have a tiny restaurant, banquet, proshop - so tiny, it's actually the same room! The course was in great shape, the greens receptive, the fairways interesting with pinpoint landing areas. Water came into play in most of the holes. I forgot which hole but a par-4 risk reward hole over trees to the right of the tee box can land you on a blind green. One of our team mate landed it two feet from the pin. Have no idea how but we'll take an eagle on a par4. The banquet was a buffet style with the usual make up of salad, chicken, steak, and all the fixings. A great time was had by all, especially our team as we won the tourney without any creative mathematics and accounting!!! Cheers!!!

Beautiful family oriented place to visit…read more Great place here for dates, kids birthday party, baseball teams to practice their swings(soft and fastball), golfers. Lots of free parking, large space that is well marked, organised and staffed. All events are outside, so dress accordingly to the weather. Inside the main house is the washrooms and food. They serve big scoops of Kawartha Diary with almost all the flavours made. For mini put, there are two courses to try; Shipwreck or the logging theme. Shipwreck is slightly more challenging. Somehow my kids got the par for the course which is labelled on a sign at each hole. They now think they're big shots and want to go pro, meanwhile my ball enjoyed the water features in the Shipwreck course. The batting cages are self explanatory. Sign at each cage tells you what to expect from ball type to speed level. One token gets 15 pitches, just get the 5 special pricing, it doesn't expire. Bring your own helmet and bat as the ones supplied may not be the greatest. This area is either empty or packed with teams going there to meet up and waiting for a certain pitch. It would be better if they could adjust cages depending on needs of the group. Otherwise the wait can be long.

Somehow, there was a mix-up, and they double-booked us and another group for the same time slot. They sent us a confirmation email, but for some reason, our reservation didn't show up in their system. Despite the initial crowd at the start, there wasn't much of a slowdown, even though there was a group of five ahead of us. Maybe they were pretty skilled, and the course marshal was driving by to keep things moving at a steady pace. Me and my partner got paired with another lady and it was a good time. It was SOoo much better than last year in terms of speed of us getting through the course. I mean the grass and ground on the fairway is a bit dry and hard so balls do roll a bit farther... it is what it is at this time of the year. Don't expect a fancy course. It's mostly par 3's and 4's with one par 5 at the end. Decent course for a beginner who can at least hit a bit further. Pretty open space for most holes with only 17 being tricky with a huge fescue in between the green and the tee box about 115 yards out from the shortest tee box (green). Good course to dust off my rusty golf skills.

Wow, what an upgrade this outdoor driving range has gotten this season. TopTracer machines are at…read moreeach station in the middle section, and when you download the app and create a profile, you can track your distance of your ball for free. Only during warm up or Top Tracer 30 option, will they track your distance/performance in the history on the app to give you insights. You can even use it to play a game or use targets to simulate holes from different golf courses. It doesn't record my longest shot distance when I played a simulated hole from a golf course. It would instead record the distance to the pin. The mats on the right or left side don't have these machines. This place is still busy as ever even on a weekday night. We were able to score a free basket by collecting points. It makes practicing so much more fun! I went through my basket quickly playing this, and it motivated me to get better. Now this game changer solidifies this place as my favourite driving range in the city. There is a putting area to practice and an area for without a pin for chipping perhaps. However, there's sometimes a class going on there. I've heard the owner can be pretty harsh, but I have yet to interact with him and have been here many times without hiccups. He has left us alone every time we came here to practice. This driving range and another near the airport are the only ones in the GTA that use these TopTracer machines so it'll get us coming back for sure.

Just avoid most of the older guys in the golf carts and you'll be fine.
