Absolutely STELLAR customer service! This evening I came home to my 1B apartment in the High 80s, with my dog panting and myself already feeling icky, I had to make some calls, first to dad and then the Bloomingdale Air! Making an appointment was easy, the representative was so polite and patient with my probably too detailed description of my issue, informed me my tech would call to further discuss my problem. Not 5 min go by and Bill calls! He immediately informs me that he unfortunately couldn't get a tech out to me tonight (which instantly I thought welp this stinks) but then comes to the rescue by in full detail walking me through the wiring process of my new thermostat to make sure I had set it up correctly. Upon investigation I hadn't, but he was extremely helpful and fixed my seemingly simple issue in less than 10 minutes. Throughout the entire call I was low key waiting for "here's your balance due" none whatsoever! He even offered me 5% off any future repair or service! Even though I called Bloomingdale Air as an emergency because I couldn't get ahold of my apartment manager or emergency maintenance, but to be very honest, I would HAPPILY pay money out of my own pocket to have them come out for all future repairs instead of the apartment emergency maintenance just due to this AMAZING customer service from start to finish. I called Bloomindale Air because they were close & had great reviews. We had a small drip coming through our kitchen ceiling & thought it was condensation, but we weren't sure how to fix it ourselves. I talked to Jennifer & she relayed the message to Sean. He called me soon after that. I explained what was going on & that it wasn't an emergency & we could wait til the following week. He said he had a cancellation & he would be there in about 30 min, which he was. He looked at the exposed pipes & immediately knew it was condensation because some of the insulation had shrunk over time & there were gaps. He fixed it right then & there. A few days later we noticed it was still dripping but just slightly. I called Sean & let him know but he was booked up & we were leaving to go on vacation. He explained that if he had to go clear up the pipe & had to spend a lot of time finding it, it would cost a lot more. So I added some flexseal tape at the elbow before we left. We kept our AC on 80 while we were gone & everything was dry when we got home. I like Sean because he was very friendly & honest. He tried to fix the problem with minimal effort & cost. When we got home, everything was dry so I didn't bother calling him back. He stopped by a few days later just to see everything was Ok. Bloomingdale Air means integrity, knowledge and service at competitive prices! In Florida it is never pleasant to be without air conditioning. However, when experiencing those unpleasant life events, we would not consider using any other HVAC service company than Bloomingdale Air! We have been customers with Bloomingdale Air for the past 15+ years. Recently, we had to retire one of our systems after 16-years of almost continuous use. I had assumed that Bloomingdale Air would simply read the information off of the existing unit, price and install. I could not have been more wrong. The attention to detail in sizing the proper replacement system included measuring each room, inspection of our duct work, and taking into consideration many variables unique to our home. Combined with a superb installation, a competitive price, what more could one expect! After the new system had been installed Bloomingdale Air advised us to monitor our power usage. The efficiency that we realized in our new system was a very pleasant surprise! We had one month where our electric bill was less than $80 which was less than half for that time of the year. Bloomingdale Air Conditioning does a great job. They respond quickly. And I recently had them replace my large unit that had been the original with the house built in 2000. The efficiency was lacking with its age, and after first filling freon from a slow leak a few months back and seeing electric billing way above normal, I decided on putting in a new one. They explained the options, and gave no pressure, for me to go with the little better model offering a variable speed feature. I was happy with the very thorough explanation of the features of both. They spent an entire day with installation, so things were cooling nicely for that evening. And little suffering the 90degree days we have here in Florida at this time of year. They take care of permits required with county and set up inspection that follows to make sure installation went properly. They are a very caring group of guys and really care that the customer is well satisfied!! read more

I gave them a call this morning and David was nice enough to swing by right away. We weren't having emergency issues, but enough that we knew we needed some service. He took an honest look at what was going on, and did what he thought would help but that would also be fairly priced and reasonably timed. We have gone with other more popular, " brand named " hvac businesses in the past and I have found that more often than not they are very young techs who do the bare minimum and then try and sell you expensive parts. This is not the case with Bloomingdale air. It is a smaller, more reputable business with experienced techs who believe in doing the right thing, and that's hard to come by these days. The technician demonstrated knowledge of my HVAC by simply listening to my description over the phone and then validated his mastery upon inspection of the unit. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My 2012 AC unit wouldn't power on after a power outage in my neighborhood. I contacted another company first for a diagnosis. The other company was lazy and more concerned with selling me a new unit than repairing it. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and I'm glad I called Bloomingdale air. The tech came on short notice prior to the end of his shift. He was able to quickly identify the problem and get my AC back running.
