I worked with Stephanie at Spruce Pine Florists for my May 2011 wedding…read more Their prices are reasonable, and their arrangements were gorgeous. I described my wedding style and colors with not too many details, and the bouquets and centerpieces she and her team created were beautiful. She was very patient and understanding when working with my budget. I've since used them for a funeral and birthday arrangements. They delivered on time and the pieces were beautiful. I highly recommend this florist.

Babes delivered another arrangement, Halloween Glen, instead of the arrangement she had asked for and more importantly had paid much, much more! She had ordered Trick-or-Treat Bouquet It was A LOT different from the Halloween Glow. I am writing this for my friend who sent the bouquet. She called Babes and a clerk acknowledged that the wrong arrangement had been sent out. Know what they offered in compensation? 20% refund and 20% discount on any future order! First of all she will never order anything from their store again and 20% doesn't even get close to her lost! My friend and I do not recommend Babes for any tele services (long distant by phone). It may be better for in person services, I just don't know.

My sweetheart called many florist in the area and said this one had the best customer service. He asked they be delivered in the morning of my birthday, but they were not delivered until afternoon. He was very disappointed. He was also surprised at the size of the arrangement when he saw it. He expected much larger. He felt he didn't get his money's worth. It has varied flowers and greenery and was arranged nicely. The container it came in leaks, so it's a problem getting water to stay in. I have it sitting in a bowl. This was ordered over the phone so can't comment on the store.

She even stepped in when my catering company took a few missteps! Cate was my coordinator for the rehearsal dinner and she was incredible!! She had everything set up when I arrived, had already met my parents and was so proactive. She ran the bbq buffet, got people drink refills, and even got my painfully shy step-daughter to talk to her a bit. Cate was amazing and I highly recommend her and Belle. Christine was my coordinator the next day, she steamed lots of dresses, helped us more the cars around when our driveway got too full and even picked pretzels out of our gardetto mix to help ease my tummy. (Just to be clear, I did not ask her to, she was proactive! I don't want to sound like some crazy client that asked someone to pick pretzels out of a mix.) Highly recommended!

From our first meeting with Abby we felt comfortable that she understood the feel that Sara was hoping for with the somewhat non-traditional wedding she wanted. I misread their website and thought they were open but as we pulled up, discovered they were closed but you could call for an appointment. As we pulled away, I called and left a message for the owner, hoping we might be able to come back later. About two minutes later, Michael, the owner called me and invited us to turn around and take a look. He gave us a tour and a education on his trees. We must've spent almost two hours chatting with him and ended up with several trees to take home at very reasonable prices. We will return when we make it to Asheville. We enjoyed our visit and will enjoy these trees! Be advised that like many smaller nurseries in NC, cash is preferred, so hit up the ATM before you go.
