Bagel is great! I got a breakfast sandwich, hash brown and iced coffee for about $11. The bagel sandwich was fresh and flavorful and the bagel and a nice toast outside and soft inside. The hash brown was average and the mocha didn't have a strong coffee taste. The service was fast and friendly. The dining room had a lot of seating and everything looked well maintained. It's in a small shopping centers so I there's ample parking. I'm judging in terms of wanting a bagel this is a good spot! read more

Hello, I would first like to begin by congratulating myself on this review since this is my fifth one, the big 5.0! Due to my family relations in the state of Pennsylvania, established December 12, 1787, I was once again utilizing the city of Bloomsburg located at 41.0037° N, 76.4549° W. As 12 noon began to come close, my stomach began to rumble and I needed a repast. And let me tell you, I have been choosing the establishment "Bloomin' Bagels" for quite some times and am always impressed. My go to sandwich is a simple ham and cheese, with shredded lettuce only (besides the fresh plain bagel, cheese, and deli ham of course!) (Let me elaborate, my sandwich has a freshly baked plain bagel (sliced), then 1 slice of American (white) cheese, ham (deli), lettuce shredded; iceberg variety), and lastly the top of the sliced bagel (plain, toasted)). Once ordered, I sat down and sometime later (unfortunately I didn't have my stopwatch with me so I don't know an exact time), my sandwich was delivered. Upon my normal pre-bite inspection, I noticed what appeared to be a white, creamy substance polluting the ham. Startled, I pondered the situation for a minute and realized it was the condiment known as mayo! Disturbed, I returned my sandwich and they happily remade it, very kind of them. With a new, mayo free sandwich, I bit in and enjoyed. Once I finished my sandwich, I consumed my bag of "Original Chips" made by the corporation "Weis". Once done, I began to pack up to continue my day. Overall, Bloomin Bagel is a must stop if you are feeling peckish and need to fulfill this ailment. P.S - This is my second only 5/5; a reward that should be taken with honor due to my stringent standards. Even with a mistaken first sandwich, the experience and kindness of the workers quickly caused me to forget this mistake (which is rare for me to forget since I can recite every memory since I was three (3) years of age). Absolutely looooove this place! By FAR the best bagels in the area (and I've tried many!) they have that perfect chew to them and are the best I've ever had outside of NYC/NJ. Their house made cream cheeses are delicious (especially the scallion and strawberry!) and I just love that they have pork roll on the menu for my egg sandwiches...even if they do call it Taylor ham honestly, I think this is the most consistently solid place to get food in the area so highly highly recommend!!! read more

Parking is curbside in front of this bagel shop - so bring quarters to feed the meter. Inside was clean and somewhat tidy - a few boxes here and there but overall a neat appearance. Ordered an everything bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. Bagel was toasted perfectly and the egg and bacon and cheese was great - real egg, not egg whites or scrambled eggs but a fried egg. Bacon was crispy but not too crispy and it wasn't greasy either - just right. We also ordered a custom sandwich - everything bagel with cream cheese, lettuce and tomato - they had bo problem making it for us. It cracks me up that I've heard rumors over the years that they ship their water in from NYC to get the bagels here just right. I have yet to confirm whether or not this is true but they at least have the recipe down pat and are a standout in my old college town. I measure a bagel shop on how often they can draw me back at any time of the day. Sure, I've had tens, if not triple digit runs over the years to grab a breakfast sandwich where they introduced me to the NJ "delicacy" of Taylor ham. Everything bagel with taylor egg & cheese with pepper please has become my go to on about 90% of my visits. But then there are the times I've gotten a lunch craving as well and they do lunch sandwiches about as good as any I've ever had. In college, I was hung up on the egg salad sammy on a sesame bagel. Their lunch meats are all Boar's Head brand and you can't go wrong with any of those choices either. Don't forget the cream cheese options, they must have 10 or more flavors and the chive one is best if you want something to schmear. The food gets flying colors but the service has always been super friendly and inviting too. Smiley college co-eds, even if it's 7 AM , greet you with grin and enthusiasm. I don't even know the owner of the place but almost every time I've been in there, she greets me with a "hey, how have you been?" like we go back decades.....and we kinda do even if we have only said salutations many a mornings. If you're passing through on I-80 and have a breakfast craving, skip the ubiquitous fast food options and take the 5 minute drive into downtown Bloomsburg to pick up some road food. This place gets such a seal of approval from me that we are using them to cater the breakfast the day after our wedding with family and friends. Verdict: Bloomin' blows the competition away. This is one of the best cinnamon raisin bagels I've had in a while. (I've had a fair number in central PA.) It looks like most other bagels of that type but they're doing it right here. This bagel had just the right amount of crispness on the outside and a soft interior. It's no surprise that they were doing a good amount of business when I arrived. Thankfully, they were also doing a good job of keeping the orders and lines moving. I'm no stranger to Bloomsburg but I think I'd been missing out on a good thing here. Tried all the local joints on this stretch and this one slipped by. Don't make the same mistake I have. The workers there were extremely warm and friendly and I didn't talk much but from the one or two times I said something to them they were extremely polite and the food came out really fast. Usually the places I go never put enough cream cheese on my food but they did the perfect amount and offered to put more. This is the perfect place also because it's local and they have nice seating area plus it's surrounded by shops and nice walking areas so it really is perfect and just one last thing is that it's really cheap I paid 3$ for a bagel with toppings and it was really good I recommend this business any day. read more
