This is a very interesting country style store and tourist trap. Don't get me wrong, I love a good tourist trap. Jellies and hot sauces, trinkets and decorations and SO MUCH MORE. I could have spent a lot more time and $$ in here but my bride had us on a schedule and we had to get changed for an event later that day. Next time I'm in the area, definitely a must stop here kind of place. read more

Wow this place is Amazing!! We have been past this place tons of times! We thought it was a big road side produce stand. Always went by the exit and said next time. Then we would forget to see what exit. This place was absolutely amazing!! I have to say its touristy they do get people traveling. A lot of the prices reflect that!! When I say they have everything they have everything!!!! Country things, Christmas items, jar items, soaps,candles, Kitchen items well organized and so many cute things to look at. You could spend hours looking . They have high end dishes lenox at discounted prices and sales prices for someone looking to buy something different. Just never knew what this place was! We were wrong assuming! There was a outside area they sold different pots and water fountains. We didnt go out but I looked from inside and there were tons of options. We didn't go up and down every isle, we did walk upstairs which was tons more of Christmas and assorted stuff. Highly recommended, if your in the area and have time to see what they have you need to stop. We personally didn't need anything but lots of people were buying stuff. I'm embarrassed to say I have been in the area working, living or both for over three years and i never stepped foot in here until recently. I didn't think it was really my kind of place until I had to go to return and item for someone else. What a lovely place! To start, they have a very large selection of dishes of all sorts for your home, restaurant even. Lots of varieties of glasses at really good prices also. The other side of the store took me down a road testing my willpower over spending. There are so many items for making food!! Tons of bakeware, gadgets, useful tools, knives, rolling pins, silpats...I could not list all of the stuff here without doing s very long and thorough inventory. On that note, I have kept a note to go back and get individual bakeware dishes for single serving items for a Thanksgiving and Christmas, so cute and it makes people feel special to have their own dish. Okay so I did have to contain myself a lot. I did get some metal reusable straws with a straw cleaner, how handy! With all of the plastic straw commotion going on we want to do our part also. Upstairs has some really neato stuff too. Different cards for various occasions, a Christmas decor area, home decor, soap and fragrance section, and other handmade goods. The people working there, seemed like the owners but I don't want to assume, we're so nice! Very pleasant and kind people. Wow! I had no idea! This place is an absolute shopping wonderland! I thought they just sold garden pots and statuary items because that's what you see when you drive drive-by. By the way their prices on outdoor pots is excellent as well as the selection. But once you step inside... WOe! it opens up a whole other world of shopping! This place is loaded with merchandise, just about everything you could imagine and not even imagine for your kitchen from dishes to cookware (fine cookware at that) as well as gadgets and gizmos by the hundreds. They also carry local honeys, preserves, and specialty sauces and on and on and on! A kitchen loving cooking foodie could spend a fortune here! I really did well containing myself but it wasn't easy. Certainly a great place to get a special gift for someone too. They also have stationary, bird feeders and even candy. You'll need the sugar rush to carry you because you could spend an afternoon here just looking and taking it all in. I recommend this place if you are a gardener, feeding your local birds and an all around kitchen dish hoarder. read more

I really like this store and I make the trek from Greenville to shop there. My most recent trip was such a disappointment. The store is messy with barely passable aisles and some blocked completely with what appears to be unpacked inventory. There is so much glassware sitting on the floor it would be a nightmare if you had small children or a stroller, and if you are handicapped don't even go. Customer service is non-existent until you get to the check out counter. Check prices beforehand if you are going to look for a specific brand/pattern. Some of their china is wildly overpriced, some is quite reasonable. My biggest issue is it is no longer the 'dish barn' but the 'everything but the kitchen sink' barn. Dishes/sets are relegated to one side of the downstairs with the rest filled with Christmas decorations, utensils, pots and pans and a plethora of other junk. Upstairs isn't any better with far too much merchandise cluttering the floors, narrow aisles, and a mixture of nice things and junk. I'll go back later this year to see if things have improved. If not, there are other places I can road trip elsewhere. read more

I am an avid shopper and while this place has most everything, I have never seen such totally outrageous prices! Some items I was not familiar with I will give them the benefit of the doubt ($45 for a creamer etc.). But Other items, such as Le Creuset etc. that I have and am familiar with were outrageously priced . Do yourself a favor and shop online for the products you want at normal prices. read more

This is the cutest shop! Bloomfields is advertised as a dish barn but inside you'll find a ton more than just dishes. I loved all the beautiful faith based product! They have items such as furniture, lamps, kitchen needs and wants, clothing, seasonal items , and a lot of other random cute items! Bloomfields has the most outdoor garden birdbath and statuary designs in the asheville area. we looked at so many places off hendersonville road and then found bloomfields which had many great designs to chose. We called other places, and they didn't have the statuary design but Bloomfields did and the prices were better than buying online. We didn't shop inside the store. read more
