If you're in the area, this is a fun shop to visit, especially if you're looking for something touristy to commemorate your visit to the area. It's definitely geared towards tourism, but there is also stuff here for locals, like unique furniture pieces. And it's connected by an open door to Flat Rock Bakery, so you can browse while you sip or wait for your pizza. It can be a bit pricey, but that's to be expected for this type of store. Pro tip: Bring the kids! They have a great selection of toys and games, and there are even some live animals in the store!

They also have some home decor such as pillows, artwork, cloth dish towels, and throws; most of these items have inspirational sayings like "live in the moment", "peace love happiness", etc. And they also have jewelry and other accessories like shawls, hats, scarves, etc. Their prices are fair-moderate and they run various sales throughout the year. It's a great store to pick up a cute little gift for someone or just a fun accessory for your home. I deducted 1 star because they have the most unfriendly staff I've ever encountered. I've been in this store multiple times and they have NEVER once greeted me upon entering, don't ask if I need assistance, and they always look bored and distracted sitting at the checkout counter usually looking at their cell phones. Even when I've made purchases, they hardly look up at me; just ring me up and sit back down. It's kind of a bummer because it's such a bright and cheery store and the staff is a total downer.

Planning a destination wedding, many vendors settled for a phone call, but not Larry. He invited my mom and me to his warehouse to discuss our contract and really understand what it is we envisioned for our wedding day. On our wedding day, Larry was one of the first vendors to arrive - and WOW - did he deliver! I was blown away by the elegant floral environment. Everything was simply... perfect. He worked with our budget to deliver a minimal yet timeless vision. I could write a novel about the amazing experience we had with Flowers By Larry!!
