He understood my issues and I always check to see if they have experience with Asian hair before going. Everything turned out great and I really like how my hair grew out from the cut so will be returning. Been looking for a solid place every time I have to travel to Montclair for work and looks like I found it. They are friendly guys and overall, a great atmosphere.

I walked in and they took me in to get a haircut. The person who cut my hair seemed extremely inexperienced. It could even have been his first haircut ever. He took more than an hour to cut my hair and he completely messed up my hair. He was so bad that I had to come home and adjust my hair myself. It looked like someone shaved the sides and somehow tried to blend it, you could see multiple lines on the sides where he attempted to blend. My hair was all uneven and imbalanced. I haven't gotten a worse haircut ever in my life. I will not be returning to say the least.

It seems like this place only hires sub par stylists. There was a kid there with his dad for the second hair cut since the first was horrible. I told the girl a trim, she take out the buzzer and goes to town. When I said something she made it seem like I was crazy. U got to be fckin kidding me!

I specifically looked through all the barbershops in the area to see ones with Asian reviews because cutting Asian hair is uniquely challenging...apparently. Anyhow, it turned out great; Dylan understood exactly what I was going for, let me know how he cut it in certain areas, and was a very easy to work with. True professional and expert in his craft. What I thought would be a one-time visit to this shop turns out to be one I'll have in my rotation. It's good to have options and having availability when I need it is probably my number one priority.

CJ was my go to since we knew each other through many mutuals. Super friendly, always fun to catch up with and talk about whatever. I'd show him pics and tell him what I wanted/whatever I was feeling, and he always delivered. Also, very clean place (a very bro looking place), and friendly staff that get along with each other.
