I have been ordering flowers from this florist for a few years now. While the flowers are always…read morelovely, on my most recent occasion ordering, the florist delivered my order 3 days early (birthday flowers for my mother-in-law). As you can imagine, this error negated the entire value of my gift, as it made it appear that I didn't know my mother-in-law's correct birthdate. I called the store to explain this to them and ask for a refund. The owner was quite rude on the phone. She yelled at me and accused me of "trying to get free flowers", an absurd accusation considering I have been a loyal customer who has ordered $250 bouquets from their store twice yearly for years now. The owner insisted that the only options available were for her to return to my mother-in-law's house and take back the flowers that she had already delivered or to refund me the delivery fee only ($40, out of a $250 order). Very disappointing interaction. I will never be using this florist again as they are unable to keep track of their schedule and unwilling to take professional accountability for their mistakes.

It was a Friday and I needed an arrangement Monday morning by 845am, although her shop didn't open until 10am. She said she would get it done and have someone deliver them to me at the time I needed. She gave me her number so that we could communicate and was very responsive. Although her delivery person wasn't able to come at 8:45am, she ran over to me herself at 9am and was so apologetic that she was even 15 minutes late and then gave me some tulips because she felt so bad! While waiting 40 mins for a door dash order, I could see that the store was very busy. I waited in line for 40 mins not asking or saying anything and waited. But by the time it hit 40 I went up to the girl helping and asked if she happened to have my order and I've been waiting over 30 mins. She then replied well everybody has been waiting 30 mins get over it which all of the people behind me also heard , she then went to check the order. I then overheard the same girl and another behind the counter girl say that girl is a crazy b***h we don't have it, she then came back and looked at my phone again not realizing that I heard her say that nasty comment. She then went back and found my order which was labeled incorrectly ( the last initial was wrong) and gave it to me with no nicety or apology. As somebody else who works in the service industry I get how days like Mothers Day are very busy and chaotic, but that doesn't excuse the bad behavior and poor customer service.

Called them and talked to a wonderful worker Samantha. I picked this florist because 1) flowers looked beautiful on pictures 2) fellow korean and Koreans are good w their hands/eyes so I knew she would produce good stuff 3) love supporting local small business. 4) previously bad experience using national retailer--Do not ever go with flowers.com or 1-800-flower type of vendors. Too much $$ going towards commission for them; just overall bad setup and business strategy where both florists AND customers are short changed. friend who received the flowers were so happy w the product!
