This salon and its owners are women that genuinely do not care about you or your hair when something goes wrong. I never leave reviews, but they have harmed me and people should know the truth. I went into my third session at this salon on April 2nd. In the previous two appointments, I always needed to go back because something was not done correctly, but at least my hair was kept on my head. Before my third and last appointment, I texted with the stylist about what I wanted and that the health of my hair is of the utmost importance. She reassured me how much she cared and would take care of my hair. By the end of the session, she ripped out the majority of my hair. I am a woman that normally has plenty, thick, shiny, and voluminous hair, and now I am left with strands without any way of getting back to my normal self again for several years. The stylist who did this was apologetic and did her best by adding extensions. However, it felt like a quick, "be quiet and move on" move from the salon. Since the color nor the texture matched, it looked like fake doll hair. I recovered from illness and traumatic events in which I lost plenty of hair, and in one sitting, all the progress I made was taken from me. I called the salon directly after several sleepless nights, since this has massively affected me emotionally. They did not get back to me. I had to call and follow up. It is evident that they do not take the burning of one's scalp and ripping off the majority of one's hair seriously. I wanted to directly speak with the owners because I had high hopes that they had an ethical manner in which to go about this. However, I was sadly mistaken. Instead of calling me back immediately on the first day of opening hours themselves and showing their face, speaking to me themselves, they tell a receptionist to tell me their message. The arrogance and disrespect is immense. They told the receptionist to tell me that they have gone above and beyond for me with giving back my money and putting extensions in. Yet, above and beyond is leaving with the majority of my hair that is not ripped. In fact, it is just the bare minimum. They said that if they do anything else for me, they will be at a loss for their business. Yet I am losing years of me not looking like myself due to their negligence. I wanted to speak to them because if they do the right thing, they would have insurance that would help with extensions or treatments. But they feel they've gone above and beyond for me, apparently. I did not ask to have extensions in my hair. I never needed them, and when I agreed to them due to losing my hair, they put the cheapest hair I've ever felt. I've simply asked for decency and for them to take responsibility. I have a sore, burning, dry scalp, along with 70% of my hair completely gone and destroyed. It is as short as 4 inches long from the scalp. It cannot even be hidden if I try. At this point, it is evident that women are being deceived by their marketing. The feeling of injustice is immense. I will be speaking with the BBB and TX board. Women are at risk of emotional and physical distress with those that have shown they do not care. I personally think the stylist herself is a lovely person, but the salon owners, who are ultimately responsible for what happens within their business, should have had the decency to speak to me directly under such intense circumstances. I will have to live like this for several years to come. I worry other women will be harmed without any accountability. read more
