What a nice place to stop in on a rainy, stormy day and get happy with a wine tasting. The tasting room and terrace were empty, the weather was very bad, but the young lady in charge of the tasting room knew her job well. We tasted a flight of whites and one red, and were more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wines. Ended up buying a bottle of the deep rose, which is nothing like any other rose you've seen and drunk. I have no doubt that on a nice, sunny day the place is crawling with visitors. The views of the Bay of Fundy and the Annapolis Valley are simply gorgeous in any weather. If you want to have a bite along with your wine, they offer a charcuterie and cheese plate. Note to US travelers: you can declare two bottles at customs, make sure that they are in your checked luggage, well wrapped in bubble wrap and bagged. It's so worth it. read more
