The gas station itself is not the problem. It is with the customer services from their associates. It varies from excellent to being quite rude depending on who is working at the time. We experienced a bad situation when I was fueling my wife's car. Since we wanted some snacks for our long drive I went inside to pay for the fuel. My wife pulled up. When she did, the clerk ran out of the store accusing my wife of trying to drive off without paying for the fuel. When the clerk realized her mistake she still refused to apologize. Quite frankly, if they're that paranoid of having people stealing fuel, they should make it so guests have to prepay or pay at the pump. The inside of the store is clean and they have excellent baked goods from Cops Doughnuts in Clare. However, when they closed down the A & W and replaced it with Subway I was disappointed. The staff that work at Subway too can be quite rude unlike the friendly staff that worked A & W. There is another area of improvement that they should make. The entrance drives and the parking lot are quite rough. In a nutshell, if they improved their customer service I would have given a much better review. They have a long ways to go to improving guest service. read more
