Yum it is worth a try not my favorite on earth but edible and cheesy of course the crust could be better!

Food was bland,cold, and not good at all. Been to this place a few times and over the past year the food has gotten worse and the prices have gone up. Not a fan anymore and would highly suggest going elsewhere if you are looking for Italian cuisine. The my moms lasagna with seven layers was in two pieces with cheese that hardly melted on top. Calzone is dry and again cheese is cold and hardly heated. All around 1 star. Just too pricey and food not as good as it once was. read more

We visited Blocky's tonight and it was truly perfect for what we were looking for! The vibe is very casual, order at the counter and food is brought out to you. The employees were super friendly and helpful, despite the fact that it was super busy the entire time we were there. The pizza and calzone were excellent and the portion size of the pasta was huge. You would be missing out if you didn't try the tiramisu and cannoli. We will definitely be back! read more

I had the ham turkey club & I requested it be a hot sandwich & boy oh boy was it ever. Damn man it was SO badass I need to start coming here more often, the hell with those franchised chain restaurants, & they even have a few beers here of you want. They did have 2 shitters but neither one of them was labeled male or female so that was confusing, but Im looking forward to eating here again god dammit! read more

This is a good little independent Italian restaurant. Blocky certainly tries hard, and has a good repore with his customers. We stopped in last Friday night and had a calzone, a couple of salads and I had the lasagna. All of it was good. read more

From a LBI New Jersey native - by far the best East Coast food around. Ordered a cheese steak and it was by far the best I've had in Colorado, and I try them everywhere. Homemade bread makes all the difference. Very nice to Support our local small business. read more

This was our first time trying this new pizza place. We got a deep dish pizza and a margarita pizza. The deep dish was not a deep dish - it was nothing but A TON crust a little bit of sauce. The margarita pizza was not very flavorful and was a signature pizza. Normally I'm not one to write a poor review but we paid $70 for two pizzas and 3 side salads that were extremely watery and only had a handful of lettuce. I know places are struggling due to covid - but that's no excuse to charge $5 extra per pizza and serve bad food. Prices online say $19.95 per pizza which is kinda high and we got charged $25 per pizza. Not at all satisfied with today's service and won't be going back. read more

Hard to find good pie in CO. Blocky's does it right though. I take my kids on Fridays during the school year and they know to double cut the pieces for us when we walk through the door, sweeet. Based on other reviews I was expecting something spectacular but our meals were just okay. We had a spinach calzone, a cheese calzone, a chicken Caesar salad and an Italian beet salad. The calzones were pretty standard fare - tasted okay, but not memorable. The salads were both a disappointment. A chicken Caesar salad is universally made with romaine lettuce and Parmesan cheese, but this one was iceberg lettuce and spinach with mozzarella cheese - definitely not what I was expecting and kinda limp and blah. The Italian beet salad was just a spinach salad with a few diced beets on top - a HUGE disappointment. The one bright spot was the balsamic glaze in the beet salad. It was very tasty. I can't recommend Blocky's. read more

This place is definitely closer to the fast food model than a dine-in restaurant. Prices are moderate considering you have to line up to order ($10.95 for lasagne). And then there was a pretty long wait time. Luckily the staff are friendly and brought the food directly to our table. As for the quality, it was your average family-style Italian (we tried the pasta and the tiramisu but did not have any pizza so cannot comment on that). Some of the best pizza I've had anywhere! We were in Loveland for a family visit and this happened to be close to our location for the week. We got three pizzas; one deep dish cheese (absolutely amazing crust and good quality cheese), a regular crust with beef (once again, superb crust with a great crunch), and a combo on regular crust (with very fresh ingredients and a light but flavorful sauce). One more note, the pizzas were HUGE and very reasonably priced for the quality. We fed seven people for dinner and ended up with enough left over for two lunches for five. We will absolutely go back next time we visit! read more

Tried to order a pizza there on Uber Eats, but it was required to order a side of ranch with it. I don't like ranch dressing and didn't want to pay the extra $1.50 just for something I was going to throw out but it was required to proceed. Didn't even bother to place the order because of how stupid that is. Ended up ordering on GrubHub. Ranch problem appears to only be on UberEats. Will update review after food arrives. read more

Visiting a town far away from where you live can be a culinary odyssey, yet unlike Ulysses if you review Yelp you won't be trapped by Sirens of bad food or smashed by Cyclops sized bills. A search of Yelp led us to this oasis of pizza! Arriving an hour before closing one would think that service would be lackluster and grudging at best, that was not the case here! We were greeted as we walked in and treated like the first customer of the day. Recommendations were made and our order was placed, they promptly began crafting a fresh pie for us. We ordered a serving of garlic knots as an appetizer and we both could have made a meal on the butter warm garlic goodness! The pizza was served with the cheese almost still bubbling hot, it cooled as we finished off the garlic knots, though it was difficult to not too dive in to it as the aroma drifted around the table. The pizza was among the best we had ever sunk a tooth to, it was obvious that fresh ingredients were used and canned or frozen ingredients were used at a minimum. Our bellies already full from the knots and we feasted on the pizza till we thought they would burst. As a side note the pizza that was left over was even better the next day! read more

I've been trying pizza from some different, recommended places here in Loveland recently. Quite frankly, I'm a pizza snob who is sure can make better pizza than any place here in town. But I'm trying to give some business to local-owned restaurants right now, and what better way to see if I'm right? Blocky's was pretty good. The crust was nice, it had a bit of chew to it and a nice flavor. So many pizza's are just bread-y when it comes to their crust, but this was decent. I ordered meatball for topping, and they were obviously from real meatballs they crumbled up. I would've liked them to be a little more garlic-y, but that's just a personal preference. Sauce and cheese was ok, but nothing special. They have a "spicy" sauce option, so maybe next time. I did notice the pizza didn't have any "grease" to it. IMO, a little greasiness on the pizza isn't a bad thing; drizzle a little olive oil on that thing before you bake it! Mine's still better, but Blocky's is certainly worthwhile. Good value, as well I think. And I certainly want to try some of their other items, like the spaghetti/ravioli/etc. 5/7 would recommend to others! :) read more

Super-friendly staff, great speed (considering what they are making), and a nice dining room with cool stuff on the walls, several TVs, and many awards. Just listening to the chefs and their assistants throw pies and put together orders gives a genuine NY feel! We had two extra large pizzas, one specialty and one pepperoni, and my 4 kids, my wife, and I tucked in to them with gusto. Everyone left with smiles on their faces, and we told them we would definitely be back! read more

We had the margherita pizza (excellent, one of the best pies we've ever had) and the a Sicilian with prosciutto and jalapeño. The Sicilian was thinner than the regular, which was unexpected. Also, the delivery service they employ had our pizza in their possession, outside of the restaurant for over an hour. We will give it another chance. read more

We ordered this from Orderup last night. I ordered at 6:00 and it was here about 6:25. The driver was nice enough. Food was still piping hot. We'd never eaten here before but I wanted eggplant Parmesan because an old wives tale says it's good for inducing labor. Ha! Other than going to Olive Garden I didn't know where to turn. Found Blockys has it over spaghetti or in a sandwhich form. I don't like spaghettti but wanted it anyway so I got the sandwhich. My husband got a Philly cheese steak and my kids got spaghetti and meatballs. We also ordered garlic knots. The knots were delicious! My husband said the Philly sandwhich was great too. Better than Taste of Philly. Kids loved the spaghetti. My big complaint is the sandwhich I got was repulsive. Eggplant parm should be crispy. This sandwhich was SO soggy. It seems like the put the eggplant parm on and the "breading" turned to mush which made the sandwhich bread turn to mush. The eggplant lost all its coating in this mushy mess. I tried to salvage the pieces of eggplant since that was the whole reason we ordered but they were CHEWY. It was so freakin gross. Just this mushy pile of nasty. I'm giving them four stars because maybe it was a fluke as my family enjoyed their meals. At almost $10 for the eggplant sandwhich I definitely would never order that again. Super bummed and will have to venture out somewhere that actually knows how to make eggplant parm! Updated to say after this review the owner contacted me and gave me a credit to try again. Didnt get the eggplant again but their pizza is the BEST! Highly recommend for a great flat, greasy, delicious pizza! read more

Killer good pizza / exceptional philly cheese steaks... everything I've had at this locally owned and operated pizza & sub shop has been awesome. Don't know what you want ? Ask for advice - the daily lunch specials are tops also! I don't eat anyone's eggplant because my grandma and mother taught me how to do it right! Blocky's is solid and I eat it without reservation! Wish they had Veal Parm but I know that isn't popular out west here! For slices ... holy cow they have a window full of pizza slices to choose from - this is such a great treasure in Loveland. Try it and you won't be disappointed - oh I ordered over a dozen pizzas and subs on Grubhub for my team working on a Friday night and Blocky's team didn't disappoint ! I've only been living here for three years, and I'm from Connecticut, so finding a decent pizza place has beeb a bit hard. I don't like a lot of the big chains because whatever they do their pizza makes me ill. This place however is a god send. Cute local shop, friendly/familial atmosphere, and their pizza is so reminiscent of nyc and New England style pizza. So happy to have found this place. read more

I failed to look at the prices for this place. I had assumed that the pizzas were more of a typical price. Two "large" pizzas (large in quotations because they were extra large) for over $55! I had sticker shock. Hoping that it would be pretty much the best pizza ever for that price, I was utterly disappointed. Pizza was floppy, flavorless, and soggy. Total waste of money. Plus, the cashier dude was a little curt. Overall, super underwhelming. Probably will never go back. We had the Veggie pizza and a Chicken pizza with onions, peppers, and extra cheese. read more
