These people need to get with what's going on. No one who worked here was wearing a mask or gloves while they were handling food or taking order. This a trendy taco spot in Wilmington, NC. Being from LA, tacos are a part of life. Nothing quite compares to ordering from a truck and getting authentic street tacos from back home. The prices here are a bit high, but I guess it comes with the area. The asada tacos were ok, nothing remarkable. The fish tacos, however, were delicious! Those are definitely worth ordering. They were crispy and tender, with the right amount of crema, lime and cabbage to compliment. I would not recommend their horchata tho. It was not good. Way too sweet and I could tell it wasn't made from rice. I would make this my go-to spot for fish tacos, but the prices would not have me coming back for my regular taco fix. read more

Amazing tacos and just the right size so you can order 2, 3, or all of them! The chicken had almost a cinnamon taste which sounds weird but it was so good and tender. The carnitas taco was juicy and jam packed with flavor. Someone walked by with the nachos and those looked worth a try as well. These are the best tacos I've had so far in town. Love, love, love them! The food is fresh and cooked right in front of you with an extremely short wait time. They have such fresh ingredients and will make the tacos to order or offer suggestions if you ask. The guys working the window were extremely nice and remembered me from ordering previously. My S.O. and I had the fish and steak tacos. Just fantastic. They are slightly high priced, but for the small venue by Satellite and the fast service, I am all about it. Went to Block Taco yesterday for the first time. The food was great and the environment was really fun and vibrant. Definitely a good place to visit and take out of towners. Unfortunately, the woman who takes the food orders wasn't wearing a mask, despite the laws that say she's required to and I don't feel that's fair. Her area is only a foot away from every customer ordering food and was yelling names across the crowd all night, so I think her job should require wearing a mask. I've seen a few other reviews mention this as well on google, so I'm not sure the restaurant cares, but despite your personal beliefs regarding covid I think it's important for restaurants to follow laws and safety prodocols. read more

WOW! Fresh, from scratch and amazing ingredients. Carnitas nachos were so good. The pork was cooked perfectly, with a great smoky flavor. We shared them between 3 of us. Saw them cutting up the fish into fillets for our tacos and the mango salsa was a perfect complement, just the right amount of heat. They don't bread the fish, which I loved. My limeade was so tasty, my friend ordered one too. The manager, Marky, gave us a brussel sprout taco on the house. Best Service and Nachos! I went a few times while on vacation in the area, and they did great every time! Choose your meat for the Nachos, and it is filling. Tried thier Brussel Sprout Taco, it was neat and an ok flavor if you don't want meat. They have plenty of cilantro, lime and hot sauce on the stand, too. It is between some shipping container building and the bar next door. They have a Block Taco old car with a Donkey on the roof of it, all lights up at night, too.
