Perhaps they should change the name…read more This is a pretty awesome Little League for kids baseball, and it's located in great part of town and includes the Montrose area, so it's my local Little League where I live now. That's a good thing for the area, and it maintains a few great fields, and are savvy at providing fun and keeping the kids outside and active, so pretty good all in all.

But, I was very pleased to find out about the Rice Beer Garden. Located in the north endzone area, the beer garden is run by Prince's Hamburgers. Although I didn't eat, they offer burgers, hot dogs, sodas, waters, and most importantly...BEER! That's right, beer in a college stadium. Granted they keep you behind a fence...as if the Rice fans get really rowdy...but, it was a major perk to have beer during the game on such a hot night.
