Instead they boxed up these sad burnt little gems and put enough tape on the box to ship them to Mexico, I guess to ensure we didn't open them immediately. I encourage anyone looking for a reputable baker in the Denver area to dodge this bullet unless your expectation is Betty Crocker with an easy bake oven. Also, before leaving any negative review we reached out to the bakery and instead of handling professionally she posted about it on Instagram and then blocked me.

My MIL ordered cupcakes for my babyshower. We sent inspiration pics and had conversations about what was expected and flavors. Day of babyshower, cupcakes were picked up - box taped shut, our own fault for not checking before leaving. Once we arrived at the venue and opened the box we realized they were not at all what was ordered, incorrect flavors, incorrect designs, overcooked and burnt on the edges. We reached out to the bakery to express our dissatisfaction, she then proceeded to post our conversation on Instagram asking if we were a Karen and praising her own cupcakes. In her posts she contradicts herself several times. She states that she received an inspiration pic and that they did the cupcakes as close as they could, but in another comment she said she didn't know what we wanted and we only gave a verbal description of desert flowers. She also states in her text to us (with the screenshot she posted) that she didn't see the cupcakes before we picked them up because they were taped shut and asked us to send a pic, but then also states 'we all thought they were very pretty'. Which one is it? I am attaching the inspiration pics as well as what we received. Cupcakes were all different sizes, icing was very minimal, designs were not even close, edges were burnt and crusty, none of the guests even touched them, we paid $150 and ended up with zero desserts at the shower. Beware of what you see online for this bakery as given this experience, they will delete anything that does not fit their narrative nor do they take any accountability. Owner - if you are reading this, we have left messages and would love to hear back from you. We have all email communication proving the ask for this order, if for some reason you are having trouble finding it.

Since I prepaid I was guaranteed my cake would be on the top of the priority list for the pickup date. Cake wasn't done when I picked it up Friday after work. When they brought it out I was mortified, but acted happy and polite because I was exhausted and frazzled. The rice paper picture was already lifting. By noon today, an hour before the party, the entire top looked melted and warped. The cake itself crumbled and fell apart as we cut into it, and not just a little, it looked like strawberry cobbler as we served it onto plates. I am absolutely appalled at what I got for $150. Do NOT order anything except cupcakes from this bakery.

I met her in the lobby and she was bubbly and sweet, made me feel immediately at ease! She had taken several pictures to show me the cake - as it was boxed and ready to go - and it was clear she took a lot of time on both getting great pictures to show; as well as the cake itself! My son's cake was lemon with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream. It was chock full of flavor but not over powering, and that buttercream is the best I've ever had! My son was thrilled when he saw his cake and could not stop eating, he said "I'm so full but it's SO GOOD" and this is a kid who's not a big cake person. We had a Chantilly cake that we purchased from Wholes Food that everyone ate and instantly became the highlight. I had my kids invite the guest to take the cupcakes and by the end of the night, we were left with 30 cupcakes that I gave away to a local agency. She arrived late to the venue because she apparently worked on a wedding cake and had to deliver it before the cupcakes. I did not see the final product until after she left or I would have said something. There was very little effort put into the cupcake's quality. A number of the cupcakes were covered in non-edible printed paper with the Air Force symbols printed and were cut irregularly. Additionally, they were dry, and not all of the cupcakes were the same size. Also, the cupcakes' edges were crisp. When I called her, she mentioned that she used the same size batter, but the cupcakes did not all rise to the same size. She noted that she would give me 10%, which is not sufficient for the service received. I requested strawberry cupcakes, and while they did have strawberries in the cupcake, it tasted stale, so I threw away the one I tried. One of the toppings should have been strawberry, but when I asked about it, she stated it was lightly flavored. I know she didn't follow through; if I couldn't tell it was strawberry, she needed to work on the cupcake delivery and taste her final product before delivering them to customers. I would suggest that folks do their homework and taste the product before ordering. When businesses want you to pay in full for services before final delivery. Check them out before! To the business: You only get to do this right once!
