They then lead you in to their spa and take you straight to your room (I miss the lounge area with the fire and complimentary drinks, but I totally u see stand). This past visit I had a facial and absolutely loved it as I received amazing skin care as well as a mini massage to the places I hold the most stress/tension - arms, neck, scalp, face! The company appears to me to be unprofessional, flaky, and flippant with customer service. When pressed, offers excuses and 'it's not able to be helped.' Not only was it a frustrating experience, it was also extremely inconsiderate. I had childcare lined up for my children during the scheduled times, and for the most recent appointment already had child care on site at my home so I could make it to the appointment. The tea, water, and other beverages offered as I arrive on site always put me at ease, and every time I walk into an Aveda, I am surrounded by the smell of Shampure and feel at home. The environment is welcoming, the salon is clean, and the folks working there know about the products and the ways the products used are all natural. I've also had a facial and it was so relaxing. I left with my skin feeling moisturized. Jennifer listened as I shared my concerns about my skin and made great suggestions about what steps to take next and which products might benefit my skin the most. I never feel pressured to purchase products, but am always told what is used and how I might be able to incorporate it into my daily life.
