First time here, Sunday afternoon and all of the other nail salons in CR were packed. I was a bit apprehensive with a name like "iNail" but I was very impressed. We were seated immediately. They have the standard massaging chairs for pedicures, the row of desks for manicures. They have a good selection of nail polishes, and a good selection of services (three different types of pedicures, manicures, etc.). Once seated we were offered drinks and promptly brought cold bottles of water. We soaked for about ten minutes, not long enough to feel neglected but long enough to enjoy the massage chairs and hot water. The woman that did my pedicure was a true expert, she really worked out my ingrown toenail, asking every so often if I was doing okay. None of that holding down your foot while you wince and say ow! She was really great. I got the basic package which includes a melon scented sugar scrub and a lotion massage. Both of which felt ah-may-zing! Overall, this place is excellent and they have a great staff of experts. Also! They cleaned every tub of every pedicure station after each use. Very clean, very polite and well spoken staff. Totally excellent. read more

I love iNails and its friendly staff. I've been getting my nails done there for six years and am always greeted by name and with a smile. All the techs do a fantastic job and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this salon! read more

I just dropped by here a few hours ago. I'm new to the area and had some 2 week old acrylics I got for graduation that needed attention. I walked in and was immediately given a chair. I asked for acrylic removal and a manicure. There was a miscommunication, I think, because the acrylics were removed but he only painted my nails (a polish change). I just went with it because I thought it'd be fine, but my nails are kinda rough and uneven. And the polish bubbled up despite him trying to fix it. It might've been better if I was more assertive about the full manicure treatment, but who knows. Only paid $20 after tip, more than likely will not go back. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this place because I used to really enjoy it. I got a mani/pedi a few days before a Florida wedding I was in. During the mani, they cut into my skin on three of my fingers while they did my cuticles causing me to bleed all over and my fingers to be sore and red for days afterwards. When they did the pedi, the other woman did the same thing which was incredibly painful. She dug into the sides of my big toes and rounded one so much that it caused a horrendous ingrown toenail that I had to deal with during the entire Florida vacation. It's been over a week and I'm still in pain. If you want a relaxing experience without bleeding all over the place, I suggest you go elsewhere. read more

They probably would've received a better review, about four stars if they got me to color I requested. I requested a very dark red dip, I gave her the number and the showed her the color and she brought me back a sparkly red. Im really upset with these and probably wont be heading back and I dont recommend you do either. But other than the color being messed up completely she did the nails decently but she was very rushed and rough with me, my thumbs are completely different sizes. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

My second time going back to this salon was to fill the full set i had gotten done a few weeks prior. The staff literally recommended just to fill them as they weren't grown out or broken, even saying it would be cheaper since it's not the full service. They still tried to charge me for the full set service and I reminded them I only got a fill, to which the woman fumbled around some papers, took the card out of my hand without showing me a different price and STILL charged me for the full service. Super sketchy. But hey my nails are always cute so whatever. read more

Very average. I came in here and was helped ASAP, which was nice. Here's problem #1: The man doing my nails was talking with a woman employee during my entire manicure-she was literally standing over him and they were talking the entire time. I was pissed because he should have had his entire attention on the task at hand. It was making me nervous with that woman there the entire time too! I felt they were talking about me, and the conversation was so loud I could barely talk to my friend sitting next to me who was also getting her nails done. Very, very rude. My shellac manicure looked really nice when he was done. Even application, good attention to cuticles and everything. My only minor complaint is that he didn't paint the ENTIRE nail, there seemed to be a little room toward the bottom of every nail that he didn't paint for some reason. But problem #2: my shellac. My nails started chipping around Day 10. I'm sorry but unless the shellac lasts the full 14 days as promised, I'm going to be angry. Probably won't be back here. read more

Would give a zero star if I could. Terrible nail shaping. The lady burned multiple fingers with her drill. I have never had such a bad experience. I actually walked out in the middle of the manicure and dip because she was so bad. I had to go to another facility to have been fixed and finished. read more

Very disappointed with my last service. I've been here a couple of times for pedicures and had not problems, but my gel manicure this time was terrible. I was served by a male technician who seemed to be rushing through to get to the next person and destroyed my cuticles and left me bleeding. 4 days later and massive chips and whole polish are coming off my fingernails. I paid for the gel to have it last, not to come off within a few days. Will not be coming back read more

My daughter needed a place to go to get her nails done for prom so I looked up on Yelp what places were good. iNail looked the best so I told my daughter. Her and her friend went shortly after and they were so pleased with the results. They really looked good and said they would go back again. Really awesome! They did a great job on my nails. They were nice and they had a great selection of tips. The reason why I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because 1 of my nails is a little crooked, they weren't as cleanly as I wish they could be, and the lady next to me was getting her nails done and when the lady started shaving down her nails, her nail dust got on me.... Other wise it was great! read more

First time and LAST time here! Absolutely unprofessional work and approach. It looks like an angry child cut my nails! I have never had to discontinue in the middle of a service but the incompetence that was being displayed as well as the pain my fingers just went through was horrifying! Not to mention they were not kind when greeting other customers coming through the door! Do NOT recommend! read more

Disappointed with my last service. This is not a before photo; this is one hour after my manicure. I seek a professional manicure only when I have a business meeting the next day and I want my nails to look nice. This was so bad, I did my own nails later that night. Granted this was a new manicurist, but I put this on iNails for hiring her. read more

Came here for a girls' nail day with my co-workers. They took reservations and had plenty of pedi chairs ready for us (there was 8 of us)! I felt a little rushed when it came to picking out my polish... I am sure they wanted to keep things moving but I hate to be rushed! The gal that did my toes was very quiet but gave an excellent massage!! I was also a little grossed out when she just pulled her supplies out of a box... makes me wonder if they had been properly cleaned (being in health care I am very picky when it comes to sanitation). I would rather go to a place that pulls supplies out of a new pack so I know they have been sterilized. Besides those two minor details I left with beautiful and toes at a decent price! read more

Clean, quick, and respectable place. I don't get pedicures often but from now on when I do, I will go here!

quite possibly the worst manicure i've ever received. i went in today to take off my dip manicure and then just get a regular manicure and pedicure. they did good with my pedicure but i'm SO unhappy with my nails. they used the little sander to take off the dip but didn't buff out my nails completely so there are big ridges under my new polish. also, when the lady filed my nails, she did it at an angle and filed through the skin on four fingers. I was just happy to get out of there, so i went to pay. When he rang me up it was $65 for a basic pedicure, dip removal, and basic manicure (just normal opi paint) on my nails. You could literally go and get a new dip manicure instead of the basic manicure for the same price. I will not being returning. read more

INails does a fantastic job! I have visited this salon 4 times and each time I get prompt and friendly service. They have plenty of new pedicure chairs which are very comfortable. Hygiene standards appear to be of a high standard as I see them using freshly sterilized tools and cleaning the chairs after each use. My polish on natural nails always comes out nicely. Expensive compared with other places ($30 for full set when most other places are $20). "Upgraded" my mom to gel without asking first so that's more on top of the $30. My first time at "I nails" was great! Kim gave me fantastic pedicure...much better job than the last $70 pedicure I had.

By far the friendliest nail salon I have ever been to! My nail tech and all the others made a conscious effort to keep a conversation going the whole time with myself and their clients, which was great so there were none of those awkward times of silence. And my tech did an awesome job on my nails for New Years and a Wedding. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I need my nails done! read more

Came here because of previous reviews and in need of a refill and a pedi... Was not disappointed!! Although they were busy, the staff were very nice and totally optimized their time. WILL NOT BE back. This salon has changed hands. The manicurists spoke to each other the entire time and did not respond to us hardly at all when we asked questions. It was extremely rude. I use to like this place. They started my daughters pedi first and she wasn't done until 20 mins after me! Price was very reasonable but I'd rather pay more for good service. Salon use to be tidy and clean. Now it's dirty and disgusting. read more

My sister brought me here and I was not impressed. First, they sat me down and wrapped my nails and 10 minutes later i stood up and the lady was working on a fill. I have used the SES product before and went ahead and use it here. First off not cheap, second when I got the done in Arizona it was a 1 minut cure time and done, that is why i loved this product. Through the whole time the lady that did my nails was pre occupied with her husband and daughter that were there. She left before i was done and i had to guess when my nails were dry. One day later my nail chipped, my polish lasts for 1 month. Not impressed and very pricey. read more

I recently moved from Chicago to North Liberty and Ive been looking for a good quality shop for about 3 months now. I found them on here. With there 4.5 stars I figured I was guaranteed good service.I Went in for a full set with gel and a no chip and a pedicure with No Chip. I am only giving them a 2 only because there were possibly 3 decent qualities about this location, Otherwise they would have gotten a one. They were clean, spacious and I didn't have to wait long to be seated or receive service. Once I sat down ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. Here is why...... 1. They did not put the blue pedicure salt in my water that you are supposed to put at the bottom of the foot tub before you start to run water. I sat in bare water for about 15 minutes before my pedi started. Even once it started she NEVER put the salt in my water. Also when they sat me down they never turned my chair on to massage me while I wait. Both of these are things I am use to in Chicago. 2.I payed 45.00 for a DELUXE pedicure! That is NOT what I got. I also initially wanted No Chip on my toes to but they charged an extra 20.00 for no chip on my toes, which would have made this a 65.00 pedicure, WHICH IS RIDICULOUS! I pay 35.00 for a REAL deluxe in Chicago that includes ON TOP OF THE BASIC PEDICURE , a sea salt rub,a orange scrub rub, a wax mask, hot lava rock rub down and a massage from knee to foot, No Chip polish included with the deluxe is 45.00. What I got instead was my toe nails clipped down against my wishes, very light attention to my cuticles, a very VERY light scraping of my heels, and drilling on my toenails, which when she drilled my toenails she made it seem as if this was something typically not included. DRILLING MY TOENAILS!! Thats how you make sure all my old polish is off! Once that was done both feet were rubbed with a fruit smelling scrub followed by a mint scrub, then each foot was half wrapped in a steaming hot towel. THATS IT! 3. During my pedicure I was asked, how often do you come here, to which I replied this is my first time. The women followed up with the question, So what do you think so far? This was asked while she was still taking off my polish so I had not gotten furious yet. I responded so far so good. She then had the nerve to say THATS WHAT YOU BETTER SAY, IM DOING YOUR TOES. WHAT!!!!! So I responded, WELL MY TOES BETTER LOOK GOOD BECAUSE IM DOING YOUR REVIEW. She said, review? I said yes, I found you all on yelp.com, a legit website where consumers can voice there honest opinions on products and services they receive and company satisfaction as well. She then asked me how they were doing, to which I gave her there rating and told her bad reviews make ratings go down. She didn't really seem to care, I could tell it was because they have a lot of regulars and dont focus much on developing new clientele. 4.She did not wait for my polish to dry before she put on the top coat and because of this, the top coat grabbed some of the polish and now there is a visible chip in it. I didn't even notice til I gave my feet a once over once I got home. 5.On top of all that I still had SO MUCH dead skin on my heels!! I am livid! O IT GETS BETTER! 5.I sit down for my mani and tell her exactly what I want length and all, so that I could get a price. She says IDK I have to cut them first, I said Ok. Mind you I had just read the list of services and it clearly state 45.00 for a gel fill set with shellac and 5.00 and up for longer nails. However, they had already gave me that bs deluxe so I wanted to be sure I was not overcharged. Once she cut them, I asked here again and she said 50.00 CLEAR AS DAY. Mind you they were not the length I wanted(PLEASE SEE 6. TO FIND OUT WHY), they are not long they are medium, maybe tipping into long. I had just paid 50.00 to the near by Walmart for an ombre powder set LONG! 6. She started cutting down my nails before she even gave me a change to confirm the length was correct. Not only that but she cut them with CHILD SAFETY SCISSORS!!! EXCUSE ME, where is your tip clipper! 7. My right index finger is completely crooked 8. My shellac was extremely sticky!!! 9. She did not put my gel set under UV light to harden it, she just let it air dry which is probably why the first nail is crooked. 10.Got to the register and my total was 107.00. I asked for a price breakdown and she told me the full set was 60.00. I told her NO I WAS TOLD 50.00. The manicurist then began to yell God knows what in another language, so I put my hand out and told her to STOP because 1 I couldn't understand her an 2. because I never said I would not pay it, BUT I WILL ACKNOWLEDGE I WAS RIPPED OFF! All in all, they started at a 2 for this review, now Im making this a 1 after completely recalling this event. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I would rather sit in Walmart and wait 3 hours to be seen than drive 25 minutes from my house to for crappy service. I also have photos if anyone cares to see them. read more

I got my nails done here while visiting Cedar Rapids. The nail technicians were very rude to me and ignored me for about 15 minutes before they even served me. And then the nail service was not great. Maybe it would be fine for people who live in the area and who are not minorities... read more

I was very disappointed in the results after I had sat in the salon for a couple of hours anxiously, as the employee had cut me multiple times, and the coworkers hover over the one assisting me. Because of this I did not feel relaxed whatsoever. To check if my nails were dry 2 of the employees were touching my just finished acrylics leaving their finger prints in my nail polish, on top of that they are not straight by any means and there are quite a few other imperfections. I come to nail salons to be pampered and relaxed, not anxious and pay for my nails to be worse off than I could do. Will not be returning. read more

I have been going here for 4 months. At first they did a good job but the last few times have been horrible. I like gel nails. I believe intentionally, didn't let my right hand soak long enough so when she started to remove the polish she tore 4 of my natural nails. She then told me my nails were weak, they are not, that's why they broke and then tried to up sell me on acrylics( more money, more upkeep, not what I wanted) really disappointed. read more

Came here for the first time over the weekend. I had heard some decent things about I Nails so decided to give it a try. The workers were very rude to us within the first 2 minutes we were there. They didn't ask us what we wanted - just pointed to the back and told us to pick out a color. We both wanted a pedicure and shellac manicure - so we started looking at the shellac colors displayed on the wall. One of the workers came over and asked "What do you think you're doing?" Caught us off guard - we replied that we were told to look at the colors and we wanted shellac. She said we should not be looking at those - we need to look at the regular polishes. (We would have known that if someone would've told us..) On top of that,It was very quiet in there - so everyone heard. Then she proceeded to go back over to her client and complain about us. Very embarrassing and made us super uncomfortable. Should've walked out right then. They were unpleasant to us the rest of the experience. The only reason i gave 2 stars was because they did a nice job on the pedi/mani. However - would not go back. read more

I used to go to iNails once a week to get my eyebrows done and once a month I would get my nails done. I recently stopped going to this salon. The owners are extremely rude and can not keep staff to save there life. They have children that they let run around there salon and will get in the way of finishing your nails because they have to go into the back and stop there kids from crying. Which is fine, but it happens every single time which get old after a while. When I first became a loyal customer it was because of a woman named Tao who was the only one who could successfully do my eyebrows without messing them up. Tao did them after one of there younger employee waxed half my eyebrow off and still charged me full price. I showed up one day to get my eyebrows done and they told me to wait. I noticed Tao was not there ( she now works at Star Nails ). I waited for 30 minutes before asking how much longer it would be . The woman owner looked at another employee laughed and said " i dont know " and began to speak in Chinese to her husband. As they continued to laugh they muttered out " eyebrows " in english. My boyfriend and I looked at each other and walked out after she had said that. I will NEVER return to this nail salon. The owners just want money they don't care about there customers. read more
