This place is neat and clean and a lot nicer than my old salon! Everyone is super friendly and the place is busy! Kim is so sweet and awesome; she is thorough and takes her time, but definitely not slow! She listens to you and pays attention to what you are saying and that is priceless. She is Vietnamese, and does have an accent, but I have never had any issues with a language barrier. She feels comfortable cutting my hair short, too, which many stylists do not. I like the short pixie styles although definitely don't want a boy's haircut. I like short and sassy yet feminine and Kim can do that! I always just text Kim for an appointment, but I'm sure you could call the salon and either talk to her or set an appointment with the receptionist. The prices are reasonable; very reasonable actually. I think each stylist sets her own price, and I just pay Kim at the chair. She takes checks and cash, but not sure about credit cards (trying to not use the plastic this year). I am really happy that Kim moved to this place; it's nice and clean and seems very down to earth and not pretentious (I'm a pretty non nonsense down to earth kinda gal). At the front desk I was hesitant because she was a younger stylist but she gave me a good wqsh at the bowl and proceeded to cut my hair. As a former cosmetologist I know exactly what to ask for and she absolutely delivered. She gave me about a two in trim and did a beautiful job at blowing out my hair with the round brush. I'm not ready to give in to paying hundreds of dollars for a cut & colour, and I'm very glad Glamour Cuts isn't either! "E" was my hairdresser - That's how it's pronounced, not how it's spelled but I'm not sure of the spelling so there we are. She was wonderful! Not only was she the perfect amount of friendly, she matched the colour I wanted PERFECTLY. Like exact perfectly. She was super easy to work with and it took no time at all to decide on the blend/shades, mix them, then apply it all to my head. I was there a little over an hour - another huge bonus since I'm definitely not used to spending that little time at a hair salon. They were very efficient and had you out fast, but I never once felt rushed. She gave me a cut too and once again, listened and understood perfectly what I was asking for. I'm in love with the cut and even more in love with the colour! It had been years since I changed it up, and for someone who never went more than a few months with the same hair colour, this felt really amazing. The atmosphere is very unassuming and the rest of the staff was a lot of fun. Everyone jokes and talks with another. The only thing that could make this absolutely perfect is complimentary wine/mimosas!
