I'm happy! That's all that matters. I like the ink I have received and the service was exceptional. Alexis was helpful, sweet and good conversation. Ariel was professional yet laid back and patient. The shop vibe is friendly and laid back. No ego here. Wonderful conversation with staff and other customers. If you do a blindfold tatt, original or coverup, trust the process. Ariel has a good eye for drawing up designs and placement. I would suggest she has more experience than a lot of other artists, specifically in cover ups. My experience in this one tattoo situation, other artists over value their work and experience, suggest things like laser removal or blackout ink maybe due to their lack of experience and/or knowledge/skill, or flat out refuse to tattoo a cover up. I get it, ppl have opinions. However, when your opinion is not constructive nor positive, keep it to yourself. Ariel was compassionate about my situation, empathetic of my past experiences with this one particular coverup, and patient. She was kind, thoughtful in her design and placement, and did a great job. I would def would recommend her to everyone, cover up, original tatt, or flash. For some of us, she is a the solution we so needed when others rejected our request. Artist have a vibe. If you communicate clearly, and discuss what you want from a tattoo experience, then the process is not difficult. Not everyone is going to vibe with an artist. And that's fine. Go find one that works for you and gives you that confidence you need to go forward. Ariel checked all the boxes for me, especially for this particular ink. Do not go here. Almost none of the designs are actually by the artist. She just takes other artist's work and does shitty covers or worse AI designed tattoos and still makes them look worse than the stencil. Not to mention the shop is not clean. I so badly wanted to support this business and their vision, however sadly, I guess it really is a scam. My partner and I stopped by on Monday evening, unaware that they do not take walk ins. Tara came to the door and explained that an appointment would be needed and my boyfriend agreed to an appointment the next Sunday with Lorenzo. The very next morning we were informed of a family issue that will require us to be gone on Sunday so my partner texted to cancel the appointment. He was then advised via text that "there would be no refund, per their website". WE DID NOT BOOK through the website and Tara never said it was non-refundable. There was no offer of rescheduling. I called tonight and spoke with the owner Ariel, who reiterated that "per the website no refunds" and again I advised we did not book on the website and Tara never explained it was non-refundable. Ariel then insinuated that we should have just known that it was non-refundable because that's "how booking all tattoos is and all other services" just is. She then said "well then I hope he can make his appointment on Sunday". Which obviously we won't make because we will be with family and will be out $100. Afterwards I took a quick glance at the website, and while it's clear deposits made through the site are non-refundable, I didn't see anything saying there was a $100 deposit required. So I guess if you book IN PERSON Tara can just charge whatever deposit she wants and it will be non-refundable. She won't tell you that it's non-refundable but you should "just know", and because it's on some website you've never seen. It's a good scam, I guess. Easy money. read more

DOOOO NOT RECCOMEND !!!!!!!!!!!!Don't get tattooed by this shop. I got a tattoo by one of the people that worked at their shop with The deal that they had for 150 any cover-up. The artist said that I was bleeding too much to finish the tattoo so I was supposed to come back in four weeks to finish, but I paid the full amount plus a $20 tip. For whatever reason that artist is no longer at the shop and neither people will keep the agreements of what I paid for. The shop will not finish my tattoo and now the artist is saying I have to pay more to finish my tattoo. I would not recommend this place. Them and the people they hire are not true to their word and their art is shit. You really do get what you paid for and the people that you deal with. read more

Not sure why she still has customers. Ariel Dejesus, is possibly the worst tattoo artist i've ever seen with her "10 years" of experience. If you're a person of logic her work speaks for itself, it is horrendous. The photos i've included below is barely scratching the surface of how many people's skin she has ruined forever. If you value your skin and your dignity, do not even think about getting a tattoo from Ariel DeJesus. Calling her a "tattoo artist" is an insult to the profession. Every single piece of her work I've come across is an absolute disaster. Her linework is beyond atrocious--crooked, uneven, shaky, and amateurish to the point that it looks like a child was handed a tattoo machine for the first time. The color work is just as horrifying, with blotchy patches that either fade unevenly or look like they were slapped on with zero understanding of blending or proper technique. And don't even get me started on the shading. It's either completely nonexistent or so poorly done that it makes the tattoos look muddy and flat, with no depth or dimension whatsoever. It's as if she has no concept of how light and shadow actually work. A quick glance at online discussions about her work--like Reddit threads in "r/shittytattoos"--will show you how widely recognized her lack of skill is. People actively call her out for producing tattoos that are embarrassing at best and permanently disfiguring at worst. Even a YouTube video critiques her so-called "art" as subpar for someone who's supposedly a professional. It's hard to fathom how Ariel DeJesus is still in this business. Either she's scamming people who don't know any better, or she just doesn't care about the quality of the work she puts out. Either way, the results are a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from her. There are plenty of talented artists out there who take pride in their craft. Ariel DeJesus is not one of them. Ariel took great detail as to why I was wanting a cover up and making the experience relaxing and very therapeutic. She was amazing. I think the artist Ariel is wearing the blindfold. Sketchy lines. Crappy cover up. Put big ink spots when she does not know what to cover it up with. My tattoo included 2 knives and my 12 year old can draw a better knife. Great... your fast, but your work sucks. I can still see 75% of my old tattoo. Take your time Ariel. Pick colors and shading to hide the old tattoo. Plus they can even afford a toilet seat that stays on the toilet. Looking for a good cover up and spend the money. My tattoo's are a huge mess. I was so disappointed on what she put on me, yes it's blind tatto but I felt heartbroken when I saw it. I had 3 choices w/color and got a black & white mammal. I been following her & like her work and my friend got a pretty tattoo but my turn she seem in hurry and just slapped a whale on me. My heart dropped to floor. HORRID!! There were homeless men hanging out in and outside of the shop - made me feel super unsafe. While in the shop, I overheard that one of the children in the shop was only 11 years old. I did not start to PANIC until the child started to tattoo a client!! After looking online, I guess 11 year old kids tattooing there is common. I do not know how this is legal..... I went to Ariel for my second ever tattoo. As it was only my second tattoo, I didn't exactly know what to expect in a tattoo shop or artist. I saw a few of her videos from a family member and they looked decent. So I message her to set up an appointment. Even in the messaging stage she was real short but I just put it up to her being busy and didn't think much of it. The time of my appointment my husband and I were both being tattooed and got there 30 minutes early. While there was a guy up front no one actually welcomed us or said anything to us until Ariel walked out of the back and that was to tell us she was doing a walk in and then would be with us even though we had the appointment. After being in the back for a moment she came back out and put the stencils on us. My husband went first as he has a much higher pain tolerance than I do and I wanted to see him do it first, it was also his first tattoo. Just watching him, I knew it was gonna be bad. She is very heavy handed and used dry paper towels to wipe our tattoos as she did them. Literally felt like sandpaper dragging across our arms. Once the tattoos were done she only gave us a quick second to look at the tattoo before very quickly wrapping them up in wrap. Once we got home and washed them up we were able to see all the imperfections. And there are a lot. I have so much hatred for my tattoo, and do plan to eventually get it covered. I highly recommend anyone that plans to go here to please just save the money and go to a different artist. It will be well worth the money and time. read more

the worst! the most unsanitary, awful tattoo studio ever! they tried to have a 13 year old tattoo me! a CHILD was putting permanent artwork on people! not one person there could pull a straight line, they say it's only women there, which made me much more comfortable to take my top off, but in reality a man and a child work there! it is so unclean it's scary! dirt on the floor, no wraps on anything, they dropped a needle on the dirty floor, picked it up and used it again, and they used the same needle across multiple people! it's disgusting! I asked for a blue watercolor dog and was told they were only doing blindfold tattoos, I agreed and they tried to get me to agree to a 13 YEAR OLD CHILD tattooing me, I said no and they went on a whole big rant trying to guilt trip me and threatening me! I eventually agreed to get the blindfold tattoo by the adult artist but when I said I wanted a blue watercolor pitbull dog they gave me a red neo cat! and had the gull to say the obviously cat was a dog! I asked how in the world it was a pitbull and they said I put too many words even though they never said it was an issue before and even asked I sprecife that a pitbull is a dog! it also has a lot of blow out, wobbly lines, scratchy, patchy awful color, and over all looks like crap! please never go to these people! it's so unsanitary, unsafe, and they lie like the dog they refuse to tattoo! read more
