We walked in and explored the place. They sell out things besides chocolate including souvenirs, but they mostly sell chocolate. We all picked our faves and each took a small box to go. It was an incredibly hot day, so we also purchased some cokes to go. Service is quick, regardless of how many people may be in the shop. The chocolate was silky, and so delicious! So happy we stopped here!

On our second afternoon we went into Charlotte-Amalie to look around and do some shopping. The driver for Dohm's Water Taxi, who drove us from the St. Thomas Airport to our hotel pointed out the Belgian Chocolate Factory as we drove past, and recommended it. Being from St. Louis, with great chocolatiers like Bissinger's, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate, and Bijoux Chocolates, we had to visit The Belgian Chocolate Factory, and we're glad we did. The staff is welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed several great flavors, in milk chocolate and dark chocolate: passion fruit, cherry, salted caramel & hazelnut; all made onsite. My wonderful wife also enjoyed some chocolates with nuts mixed in - equally tasty. We definitely recommend visiting. ----- ----- -----

No one was using the outside patio while we were there. It was not very crowded but a few more tables came in while we were there. The staff (I believe they are the owners) were very sweet and welcoming. There was quite a long wait for our food to come, but the food was very good. I had the salmon with capers and seasoned rice with vegetables. It was a large portion and very tasty. My daughter and son both had shrimp and my husband had fried snapper. There is a bar upstairs and I believe one downstairs as well but don't quote me on that because we didn't go into the club portion of the place.

Plenty of free parking across the street if the spaces in the front are full. We did have to walk up to the second floor. I don't know if there is an elevator for those with mobility challenges. Shrimp Alfredo was garlicky, but not overly so. The butter shrimp with seasoned rice was homey, filled with red bell pepper and onions. House salad was very fresh with green leaf lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and cucumber. The fried chicken was slightly sweet. Our very picky "chicketarian" loved it. It's open late which was perfect for us after spending all the daylight hours on the beach and then coming back to our Airbnb to shower and change.

Around the back of the restaurant is a covered outdoor courtyard with lush plants, a full bar, and lots of seating (extra points for the fans, the air circulation is phenomenal). Next the service. Impeccable. Every person that we encounter from the host, the bar tender and the waitress were so very friendly. I appreciated the recommendations that they had to offer on food and drinks (because everything looked so good). Some of the best service I've had on the island so far. Now finally, the FOOD!! You could tell it's was going to be good just from how the staff spoke about it. We had three appetizers (lobster egg rolls, ceviche, and calamari). Each were very unique and flavorful, great size for sharing, everything you hope for in good appetizers. For my entree I was torn between many different things, but with the help of staff I decided to go with the bacon wrapped double pork chop. And WOW I'm so happy I did. I always fear with pork chops of a dry, hard to chew meal but this was far from reality. The cut of meat was so juicy and easy to cut and chew. The flavor was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. For dessert I decided to go with a classic vanilla rum cake and it was perfect. I loved Savant, it was an experience from start to finish. 10000/10 recommend that you try this restaurant when on St. Croix!
