Decided to give this spot a try based off a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately they were out of candied yams. The collards were made with Turkey. Though they were okay, tasted a bit on the salty side. The mac and cheese was okay, not flavorful or cheesy enough. The consensus was that they were okay. The string beans were really good and on point. The BBQ and fried chickens were okay, nothing to rave about. However, the Turkey wings were on the money. Full of flavor and meaty too. One this is that to my surprise that the meals came with cornbread. The cornbread was placed under parchment paper and was soaked by all the juices from the meat, and was literally disintegrated by the time it was realized as it was under the paper and wasn't visible.
