Amazing is the first word that comes to mind. Bright and cheery colors welcome you as you walk in,…read moredrawn closer and pulled inside with the smells of fresh baked bread and sweets. A selection of cakes, Danishes, tarts, homemade dressings, take away meals and healthy food options. All made fresh daily in their kitchen in Bray. The pastries and breads are delivered into all of the 12 locations 2-3 times a day!!! Everything in the entire cafe is homemade! What a hidden gem and I don't want to keep it to myself. I was served by Lorraine who was knowledgeable about all of the baked goods that lined the shelves. She was so passionate about these cakes and treat that she had me very excited about them as well. It reminds me of bakeries that we have back at home which totally excited me. I love the fact that everything is made locally as I think it's so great to be able to support your local businesses. They have lovely coffees to go as well. They don't have any tables for you to enjoy your delicatessen in house but it's certainly worth taking away. Treats from The Butler's Pantry is bound to bring a smile to anyone's face. Oh and on Thursday-Sunday they have a selection of croissants, pan au raisins and pan au chocolate, etc. One word...YUM!

There's a really nice manager there in fact all staff are extremely pleasant. I think they could be more consistent with the speciality foods that are available and starting to sell 3fe coffee or something similar by the bag would be a good idea but overall it's the best spot for coffee in the village.

Two Boys Brew - Avo toast - amazing flavors in this dish. Sweet, savory - such a brilliant combination!!

The space is rather small, as most coffee shops are, and the prices are a bit up there, but all the coffee they make holds its own against some of the best- no Starbucks quality here- and the food is amazing. Speaking of, if you haven't tried their hotcakes slathered with berries, compote, and some of the most decadent whipped cream you've ever tasted, you haven't lived life to the fullest. It was so sweet, it was almost too much for me to finish, but I won't complain about such a delicious sugar rush this early in the morning. If you're not the "dessert for breakfast" type, they also have your typical avocado toast- don't ask me why that's a thing here, too- eggs, breakfast meats, and of course, porridge. Or, if you're not the breakfast type, they do have some bomb-looking pastries available all day, every day, including vegan options. These guys must also be pretty well-established given that they have merch available for purchase, on top of their perishables. And really, the coffee here is amazeballs. If you come for nothing else, come for that.

Foodfare - I started to eat before taking a picture!!! Black pudding, sausage and egg with toast and tea.

You DON'T serve beans with a traditional Irish breakfast. You may have it as an option but it's not given as standard. That's how you determine if the place is a genuine greasy spoon or not. In my working class Dublin opinion. This place does not disappoint. I ordered sausage, black pudding and egg. It came with tea and toast and was a fiver. Perfect. They had a full Irish for just a couple Euro more, but this was perfect for what I wanted. Great characters in here. So a good place for people watching. The staff are very friendly. The person who I think must be the owner seems to do the rounds walking around asking if everyone is OK and making small talk to the regulars. This is a wonderful thing that rarely happens in Dublin anymore. They have booths and tables. It is small enough so tables and booths are quite close to each other. My only gripe is the toilets. They aint the prettiest but they seem to be fairly clean, just not well maintained. But hey, I'm not having a piss in Brown Thomas. I am having a piss in a greasy spoon in Finglas Village. Looking forward to coming back. Anyone in the area needs to visit. [Also, apologies for the picture. I was so excited that I ate most of it before I even thought about taking a good picture.
