I got the mushroom Swiss burger, and it was okay. Let me explain that no matter how a burger is cooked, I want it to taste like it was cooked on a hot grill of some sort, flat top, whatever, and this didn't. The bun? Okay, it was like they had given me the cheapest bun they could buy anywhere. Charging $8 for a burger, I think the bun should be falling apart, with the "crust" flaking apart.
My daughter got the pimento cheese burger. She agreed that the burger doesn't have the crust desired. She mentioned later that some people say it's almost like they boil the burgers, instead of grilling or frying, although pictures show them on a flattop being cooked.
It is hard to get past the texture of the burger, which is supposed to be a mix and really, really good, blah, blah, blah. Instead of getting that sear, the entire burger is the same texture. Can you tell we're big texture people? This pretty much ruined the burgers for us.
The fries? Undercooked waffle fries, when you get the cheese fries, I'm pretty sure they get the big thing of cheese whiz, and then even worse, they mix it, so the already not crispy enough fries are coated, and I mean, coated with that cheese. Now, had it been less, maybe okay.
They do have that wall of soda bottles. They are playing some Christian music.
