I was invited to a private surprise dinner for my best friend's 40th birthday. Chef Zacki was our personal chef for the evening. I was a professional chef for 20 years, but I had never been a guest at an event with a private chef so I was psyched!  I had just returned from Paris a month before, so I was excited to hear that the main course that evening would be the classic beef bourguignon. I was hoping the meal would be good but I certainly didn't expect it to compare to the food in France...  To my surprise, not only was every course excellent, but the beef bourguignon was FAR SUPERIOR to the one I had just a few weeks early in Montmartre, France (at a restaurant best known for their bourguignon!) It was flavorful and tender, and the accompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked. The other 3 courses were also delicious and as a bonus Chef Zacki is a lovely person!  The night was perfect and I absolutely recommend Chef Zacki for any culinary event! read more

In frustration with an upcoming dinner party I wanted to give, I remembered I'd met Zacki. When I called her, she immediately put me at ease, saying she would be able to help and would bring an assistant who would assist with the cooking. To my surprise, and my pleasure, the two of them came almost three hours early, helped with the table set-up as well as cut greenery from my yard to decorate the tables. Since I prefer a fairly clean look, I was delighted that the overall look seemed like something I would do (whether I could or not was immaterial). Gigi, the assistant, is a master in the kitchen, as is Zacki. Not only did they prepare the foods I'd planned, they served and made several helpful suggestions as the evening progressed. For the first time in years, I was able to attend the dinner party instead of being in the kitchen alone! I am now thinking about when I will do this again, instead of waiting until next December. Highly recommend Chef Zacki for your next party. Chef Zacki helped us throw a beautiful cooking themed tea party for our little one and her preschool aged friends. She brought beautiful platters of tea sandwiches and delightful mini sweet pastries. Kids and adults loved them. All were delicately decorated with a great deal of detail and care. Chef Zack and Gigi also helped us facilitate a fun pizza making class. We appreciated how easy it was to get in touch with Chef Zacki, as well as the consultation provided ahead of the party to make sure it went smoothly. Zacki catered our outdoor Bridal shower for 19 guests and did a beautiful job. I was challenged on how to serve 19 guests safely during COVID as well as needing a menu that was gluten free. Zacki had wonderful solutions to both challenges! All dishes that she prepared were completely gluten free which really put my mind at ease. Every dish that Zacki and her partner Gigi prepared were not only absolutely delicious but they were so beautifully presented, especially the charcuterie trays. They were so colorful and artistic, and decorated with rosemary, flowers and other accents. They were gorgeous. In the very beginning, I had contacted 4 different caterers and Zacki replied promptly and was by far was the best communicator and had the most creative suggestions for our specific needs. I searched for a caterer who would host an intimate family get-together at my home for a Celebration of Life for my father who had recently passed away. Zacki became aware to me through several online sources (including the highest rating in Yelp) and I contacted her to see if she would be interested and willing to cater our event....and I could not be more pleased! Zacki (and her assistant Gigi) came over a month ahead of time to consult, and we had a great conversation regarding food, floral decorations, and the "flow" for the celebration. Everything that was communicated, suggested, created....was even better than I had hoped it would be. We engaged Zacki's Culinary Creations for a birthday celebration for myself, my husband, and two other couples at our home. The party was this past weekend. It was all we wanted and expected it to be and more. Zacki and her staff were very thorough, charming, and professional. They took control of our kitchen from the time they arrived and prepared and served a beautiful and delicious meal that was a delight to look at and a pleasure to eat. I wanted to do something different for my daughter's 33rd birthday and decided to have something catered at our home so our 16-month-old grandson could attend. My husband normally does all the cooking for our family gatherings, but I wanted him to be free to play with our grandson. I came across Zacki's Culinary Creation and her "Cook in Your Nook" night. We decided to have our family dinner on Christmas day catered for the first time this year, hoping that we would be able to relax and enjoy the day rather than spending so much of it cooking and cleaning-up. Our experience with Zacki fulfilled our hopes completely. All of the food was delicious and much more interesting than our typical fare! There were eleven of us including grandparents, parents and teens/kids and even some of our picky younger eaters loved the oyster dressing. It was also a pleasure to talk with Zacki as she did the final preparations in our kitchen. I recently started taking cooking lessons with Zacki, and it has been a blast. Zacki has helped me make simple yet delicious dinners for my family, and they are always excited to see what I bring home next. She is very pleasant to work with, and her prices for cooking classes are reasonable. I've opted for a weekly class at her lovely home (with her two very sweet dogs) and she usually picks up the groceries and just adds it to my bill, which is very convenient for me, as I'm a working new mom. She is also easy to communicate with and is very responsive. I've enjoyed and had fun at her cooking classes so far, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. =) read more

I am a doctor undergoing chemotherapy treatment and I was overwhelmed. I explored the options and learned about personal chefs who are more flexible with custom menu options and timing than restaurants. Having had a relative who was a doctor, Zacki had enough medical knowledge to understand what I needed, and why I should avoid certain foods. In addition she researched chemo diets. I've been ordering food from Zacki for years. I don't like to cook, but I really like to take people dishes when they are sick, or have had a baby or death in the family. I have also ordered for my own family for big gatherings. I've never been disappointed. She does a great job. I especially love her presentation of the food. I know that several of the recipients of my gifts have used her after I introduced them to her food. The one thing I and my daughter cannot live without is her Ancient Mediterranean Seasonings. Chef Zacki was a pleasure and a real treat! The food and the service was beyond what I imagined! We decided to make my wife's 40th birthday dinner a 1920's dinner ball. I had an incredible experience with Chef Zacki for a special dinner for two, packed to-go to fit my busy schedule. The lamb was cooked to perfection--tender and flavorful with a delightful seasoning. The rice was a perfect complement, fluffy and aromatic. But the real star of the evening was the passion fruit mousse; it was light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. My son and daughter-in-law had a Celebration of Life at their home for the family. It was so special because it was casual and everyone could reminisce. I booked a cooking class for a group of nine friends, and they created the most fun, welcoming, and memorable experience we could have asked for. I could not have been happier with the amazing meal Chef Zacki & her assistant Nancy prepared in my home for my birthday. Zacki and her team catered our small October wedding reception. She was very flexible and accommodating of our concerns about making all of the dishes as Covid-safe as possible. She even individually plated the most beautiful mini-charcuterie boards for our guests. The entrées (one vegetarian and one meat-based) were also delicious.
