First off, the atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I would 100% label this place as a well created and thought out establishment in regard to their interior design choices. Service was medicore. We were not shown our table, nor given any menu's to help aid in our choices, we simply assumed maybe we were supposed to squint well enough to see the ingredients for their pizzas posted on the wall. However, our waitress was very kind. As for the food, I've been to a few wood burned brick-ovened pizza places. Therefore, I understand the process, the size, as well as the thickness of pizza. With being said, I would never have imagined in all the places I had been that the $18.00, 12" Large pizza would be served with solid burnt crust. For that price, as well as the size, I would assume more pride would be taken into their pizza that matched their devotion to their decorating. Lastly, their signage all throughout the restaurant displays a gratefulness for first responders, when asked, if they had a veterans discount they were quick to explain that it was only for first reponders. Therefore, 10 years of military commitment and the first responding my husband did during hurricane katrina, I guess does not fall into the category. As it was stated it's only for firefighters. With being said, I'm glad they made the cut, as their bravery is just as important. Their eatery is fine if you're looking for a sports bar. However, if your looking for a place that delivers on pizza, and filling your families stomachs without going into debt, I suggest you save your money and get the $3.00 frozen pizzas at your local grocery. read more
