We attend the Gladys Knight concert. She was sick, hence a no-show. No announcement prior to the concert by email. No notice to the audience before the concert in the auditorium. Tonight, we went to the music of Queen. It was just plain bad. To start, it was too loud. The sound equipment couldn't handle the volume. The output was overmodulated and distorted. I couldn't understand the singer and the electronic instruments sounded like mud. I'm sure the volume of the sound was well past OSHA limits. When we left early the staff mentioned there were similar complaints about the same concert the night before. What has happened?

As soon as you walk in you walk through a metal detector and only small purses are allowed in the vicinity .The staff is incredibly friendly and helped us find our seats quickly. Inside it felt cold to me so I advise to bring a jacket if you get cold easily. The bathroom was very clean especially with how many people were at the concert. The three years of classical guitar lessons he gave to our son, Christian were a gift that has changed his life. His made huge improvements over the entire period. It all had to do with Alex's skill as a teacher and mentor and his passion for the guitar. The amazing thing was that the lessons were not that expensive and often lasted longer than the allotted time. Christian practiced longer and harder for Alex than for any teacher in his previous seven years of piano and guitar lessons. We did not know until about a year into the lessons that Alex studied at one of the premier music schools in the world, Gliere College in Kiev. He was…read moreflexible with my busy schedule and with my off-the-wall music ideas (lord knows how many vocal stacks he tuned only for me to change things up on him the next meeting, thank you and I'm so sorry lol). This was my first time recording outside of my own home studio, let alone with another person, so I had a LOT of learning to do. Dick not only was patient as I figured out the protocols, but also took the time to instruct me on how to be better prepared, how to turn out better mixes, and overall best studio practices. He knows that time is money, and would often point out the things I could be doing at home to make things run more efficiently/have less work to do in the studio itself. He is also able to make fun and interesting suggestions for subtle effects and enhancements that I never would have known about, and that really elevate your music to the next level. I feel like I came out on the other side with great mixes and a LOT more knowledge--not a bad deal, especially considering the price point! It's worth noting also that Dick has a lot of great "studio cats" for guitar, drums, bass, piano, organ, etc. who don't just 'fill in' other instrumentation as needed, but are truly masterful and make it sound amazing! One thing to be careful of is the scheduling. The studio can be busy, and weekends are booked far in advance! If you're like me and working a full time job where you can't take a lot of time off without advance notice, it may be worth setting out a recording schedule far in advance--as long as you have the drive to stick to it, so you're not wasting that precious studio time. All in all, a great experience.
