Mike Epps 10 pm show on 10/25/2025.

I enjoyed the show, but I did not enjoy my seat. The booths were too far away from the stage, and the wait time for my food was long, even though I ordered through the app. The food is overpriced. The marinara sauce and mozzarella sticks tasted ok. I enjoyed the show, but it was difficult to block out table conversations and conversations between waitresses and customers. I stood in line for about 1.5 hrs to enter. Thankfully, I found a great parking space. If you do not book with a party of 4 or more, expect to sit at a table with strangers. I was grateful to end up with a seat at the end of the table.

What a fun experience! We decided to go last minute when we noticed that there was a well known comedian in town. It was very easy to buy tickets once we arrived about 30 minutes before showtime and there were already people lining up. They divide the lines into the VIP (are admitted into the venue early for better seating) and general admission (still have a great opportunity to get seats in the front). It says it very clearly when you buy tickets at the venue or online that you must have an ID regardless of your age, so it was silly to watch a patron get upset when he was told this very explicit rule. Once you were seated down, you have a QR code on the table where you can order drinks and food which comes out pretty quick and usually before showtime starts! Really great venue and Views are great from anywhere you sit. Can't wait to come back!

Loved it, mean it! A Sunday Funday at the Improv was just what I needed! The online ticket ordering was seamless, and the food options weren't bad either. The two item minimum per guest was easily met and enjoyed. Glad to have guaranteed laughs nearby when I need them. Cheers!

This is a nice venue for a comedy show. The view is had of the stage from where I was sitting was great because my friend and I was facing the stage. We saw Arnez J here and he did not disappoint. I laughed so much that my head was hurting. I feel that the food was ok. But I would come back to this venue it there was another comedian that I would like to see.

We came here with some friends to catch a show. However we were very disappointed with the food. It was tasteless and very expensive. I don't see coming back here.

Overall, we enjoyed seeing Godfrey. This was our first going to Raleigh Improv. For seating, I'd prefer to sit beside my bf and not across from him. The seating closest to the stage is tight. I asked to move to the bar area, behind the booths, but was told that once we were seated, we could not move. I did notice the couple behind us asked to be seated somewhere else, too, and yes, that was allowed. They were given the option to be seated at the same bar area where I asked to be seated. The food wasn't brag worthy. It looked good but lacked flavor. The ranch dressing that I assume was homemade was "watery."

We went to see Bill Bellamy last weekend & it was our first time here. It's easy tI find parking & the doors opened at 5 pm for the 6:30 pm show. I suggest you get there as early as possible to avoid the chaos. The staff were kind of friendly. We got general admission tickets which meant we were sitting a table with strangers and sitting VERY closely, which I couldn't stand. I mean, this lady was literally touching me the entire time. Talk about being in someone's personal space. Anyway, you open a tab using the QR code on your table & they bring it out to you. The food and drinks are expensive. $6 for a small glass of Pepsi was the same price for water. You had to buy a minimum of 2 items per their rules. Who knew? I got pepperoni pizza and their burger as well. The pizza was ok but the burger was hard and burnt. We had a blast watching the show. I was in tears. I definitely would like to go back in the future. Next time, we will get the VIP ticket.

Visited Raleigh Improv to see Mike Epps. Love this venue. It is large enough that it doesn't feel too cramped, but small enough that most seats are pretty good ones. If you aren't purchasing tickets with a large group or buying a VIP booth, you will have to be comfortable sitting next to strangers. The seating is fairly close to others, but this is normal for shows in general. The night I went there was a 2 order per person requirement which was easily met by purchasing drinks and appetizers. We ate before coming to the show so appetizers were plenty for us. If you're coming to the show hungry, be prepared to purchase several appetizers. Fortunately, the appetizers aren't too pricey ($10-15 range). The shrimp quesadillas were delicious. My friend loved her Hawaiian 5-0 cocktail too. I just had a glass of Riesling. I am docking a star because, although our order came out fairly quickly, we had to send it back because it was the wrong item and it took forever for the right item to get to our table. A bit frustrating but the food was good in the end and we loved the show, so hopefully this was a one-time fluke. The house was crowded and the show sold out, so the kitchen was extremely busy. I would definitely visit again. I love to laugh and Mike Epps did not disappoint.

I purchased VIP tickets and I'm sure they told me it included some special hors d'oeuvres but when I got inside no special hors d'oeuvres shame on me. The atmosphere is nice I do have good seats just a little disappointed that I misunderstood what the lady who saw me the ticket said. Foods always good drinks are always good.

Amanda Seals show: A much better experience this time. My friends and I went half on the VIP booth which is well worth it. At this age and stage I prefer comfort and the general admission is just way too close for comfort. We waited in the vip line for a few before the doors open. Our booth was ready when we got inside. There is a $200 voucher we were able to use on anything on the menu including cocktails, so this turned out to be a better experience. Don't expect impeccable service because it's still a noisy comedy club. Don't expect good tasting food, it's processed. Do come expecting to laugh and enjoy the comedian you paid to see. We laughed a lot and I thoroughly enjoyed the show and I was comfortable.

7$ for a water. Won't give us a glass.... will not come back. Food is overpriced and poor quality. Wish I could give less than 1 star.

Ask the Community - Raleigh Improv

What is the difference between a general admission ticket and a prepaid party ticket?

General admission just puts you a random table/seat (first come first serve). The party tickets put you either in a booth or a reserved table

I just need to know what side of town this is considered in order to get an airbnb nearby. Can anyone tell me, please?

in a suburb called Cary, NC, south of Durham and NW of Raleigh.

Hours say noon - 4pm? Is that correct?

That's incorrect. That may be times to purchase tickets in person! If you always buy online and use your phone. They always have promo codes to save you a few $. Usually the first show is around 7 and the second is around 930-10pm!

How does seating work? First come-first-served? Are any seats off-limits? What about the booths... can you just have two people there, or do they fill it up?

There are two lines for Seating, General Admission and VIP. Seats are first come first served for General Admission.… Read more

The friendly/knowledgeable worker walked us in the lamb pen - clearly explained the rules then gave us some food and the friendly lambs came over for lots of snuggles. When done with the snuggles we could go explore. First we went to the clean restroom to wash, then headed over to the other side of the pond to pet the goats. There were also bunnies, chickens a donkey and a mule. You can buy local beer, wine and drinks, walk through the gift shop and pick and eat berries. They also have live music- check the website.

The farm also has sheep, chickens, bunnies, donkey, mule, gift shop, seating areas, air conditioned restrooms, handwashing stations, and a pond. We had a lovely experience at Old Mill Farm recently. It was a much needed peaceful retreat and return to nature. We could have spent all weekend just relaxing on the deck watching the animals and snacking on fresh blackberries. We arrived a little late for our lamb snuggle session, however, the employee who greeted us was so understanding and welcoming. She introduced us to the lambs, clearly stated the rules, and answered all of our farm questions. After feeding and petting the adorable sheep for 45 minutes, we explored the rest of the farm. We washed our hands, walked around the pond, pet the goats, perused the gift shop, and visited the chickens, sheep, donkey, mule, bunnies, and vineyards. The fresh blackberries in the vineyard were large, refreshing, and delicious. At that point we were soaked in sweat and decided to wash our hands and head out. We did play all four "carnival" games before leaving. Local: we appreciate their emphasis on supporting other local businesses in what they offer at the bar and in the gift shop. Food/drink: Bar stocked with local beer, mead, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic options. No restaurant on site but they sometimes have a food truck. Customer service: I forgot her name, but the farmer leading our group was incredible. She was so welcoming, patient, and passionate about the farm animals. Parking: large, labelled dirt parking lot near the donkey and mule enclosure. Reservations: needed on specific days/times/events. The website lists when reservations are needed. Price: check the website for free visit days/times. Some events do have a cost. Lamb snuggling was $10/person (for 5 people) and included food for the lambs and a self-guided tour of the farm. It was definitely worth the price.
