I had ordered a wrap instead of a sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff was lovely to accommodate me by removing some items off the predesigned list for the wrap due to diet restrictions. The wrap itself was burrito sized, so be prepared for leftovers if you're only slightly hungry. The cookie I had was massive and soft! Honestly with the bubbly, cookie and wrap it was a full sized meal for supper (for me). The extra Yelp bag of goodies was definitely an added YES surprise! Thank you to Vilma & Earl of Sandwich for such a lovely summer treat.

Surprisingly they were quite delightful and aren't too expensive. I went around 12:30pm on a Wednesday and it was quite busy. The line went by quick. I tried the Holiday Turkey and my partner tried their Original 1762. The Holiday Turkey literally tasted like a holiday turkey in stuffing within cranberry sauce. I was pretty satisfied with how spot on the taste was and it made me feel like I was eating a Christmas meal. My partner enjoyed his Original 1762 roast beef sandwich. Both sandwiches were flavourful and warm. They give you an option to choose between whole wheat and white bread. We got the combo so it came with soup and a soft drink as well. They gave us an empty cup for the soft drinks and it was self serve at the counter. The chicken noodle soup was well made also. Overall I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't. The sandwiches were filling and worth the value.

Roast beef was so dried out and crispy so I quietly brought it to servers attention. He apologized and said he would make another. Brought it to the table with a free cookie. Was actually worse. For the price and distance to get to it would never return. Sandwich shops on every corner. I would find some place else to go.

Walking into an Evoolution store almost feels like walking into a winery. But, instead of wines,…read moreyou get to sample an amazing selection of flavoured oils and vinegars. It is very possible to spent a lot of time here. The fun is in mixing and matching the various oils and vinegars. There are so many exciting flavour combinations to try out. Sometimes, it can be overwhelming to choose something. Luckily, the signage throughout the store can help you figure out what you're into. Beside each oil and vinegar, there are suggestions of what foods are best paired with these. I also find that the staff are usually available to help you find what you're looking for. Another plus is that they have different sizes of bottles to choose from. If you're trying out a new flavour you can buy the smallest size. If you have a tried and true favourite, you can buy the largest bottle. They even have gift sets available. My family loves these Evoolution products and have been using them for years. Using these oils and vinegars have elevated my salad eating experiences at home. The bottles look so classy compared to your average grocery store salad dressing. The coolest part is that these oils and vinegars can be used for many other foods such as meats, cheeses, ice cream and popcorn! If you haven't been in one of these stores, I totally recommend checking one out!

Twice I was denied entry and had to resort to peering through the window (ja you's a window shopper). If you get the reference, we should most definitely be friends. Anyways, third time was the charm (although we made it with only half an hour to spare). We walked in and were greeted by a super friendly, easygoing evoo worker. Seriously, so nice - she explained a few things, made a few recommendations based on what I was looking for and then let us go to town on the sampling. I tasted a reasonable amount (reasonable being a loose term) of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrettes. A few that stood out for me: Tuscan herb, garlic, and the cranberry pear balsamic. So good. They come in three sizes (200ml - $13, 375ml - $19 and 750ml - $31). I ended up picking up a Tuscan herb evoo bottle ($19) and tried it in a salad dressing I made. Awesome! Very cool, chic spot - hit it up if you are looking for something to spruce up your salads/chicken/dinners! They even have these little 6 bottle samples ($36) that would be a great gift.

My favourites were the beef dip and the caprese! The beef dip was phenomenal and it was beefy and cheesy at the same time. I like how you can upgrade your combo for $3.49 or $4.49 for an extra side. I got a Mac n cheese and it was definitely super cheesy! The brownie was very moist and satisfying! It's just like the sandwiches in the USA. And I'm glad it's available in yeg. QUITE SHOCKED AT HOW GREAT THIS WAS…read more I've been seeing Hungry Birds pop up on my IG feed lately and wanted to give it a try when I got a chance. I was certainly not disappointed. The food: very fresh, full of flavour, and a TON of options. I had the pulled pork sandwich which had a great spicy coleslaw on it and the meat was THICK. The sandwich looked small at first but this thing filled me right up with all the filling in it. I will definitely be back to try their wraps. The service: very polite! The person in front of me was having a hard time choosing their sauce option and these guys were so patient and let them sample a bunch. Kudos to them! It's located in Whitemud Crossing which is the same strip mall as the Public Library is located except Hungry Birds is on the opposite side as the library. There are two or three tables but this is clearly a takeout café. The owner greeted us as we arrived and then explained how the menu worked. There are noodle bowls, grilled wraps, soups and salads. We opted for the noodle bowls. He then asked what size (small, medium and large). Then we chose the vegetables and meat. I had the marinated beef and my wife had the chicken. We had a choice of two types of noodles to select from or rice. Finally he asks what kind of sauce and whether or not you want cheese on top; the cheese is an add on. We also ordered a bowl of Wicked Thai Soup. I was impressed that he put the soup into a pot to heat it up rather than just scooping it directly from the soup pot. This ensured that it was hot . Once we got home we found all of our orders were quite hot. More importantly we all agreed that the noodle bowls were delicious and for the most part, nutritious. This was my first visit to Hungry Birds but it won't be my last visit. I have no problem giving them four stars.
