My family brought auto and life insurance from Shelley for 10+ years and just find out it's a rip off! My dad's car was totaled in an accident, it should be remove from the policy (why pay insurance on a car not exist?), but Shelley keep the policy for another 6 months, which do nothing but cost more money. Life insurance is worst, when my family brought the whole life insurance from Shelley 10+ years ago, she claimed that this plan is wonderful, it can save money, you don't have to make payment after 10 years blah blah blah, but the truth is, the COI (cost of insurance) is so high, the saving won't cover the insurance cost and 10 years later, we end up with almost nothing! My mom has no choice but to discontinue the life insurance. For those of you who have life insurance will know how horrible it is to cancel a life insurance plan after 10 years with little money left in the saving plan. It's like the Bernard Madoff scam in the insurance industry! When we try to confront with her of course she denied everything. "it's the way it is...", "every insurance are the same...". Luckily my fiancé has some knowledge about insurance so I know when she is talking BS.

Starting off with age, profession and martial status. She dove deeper and I was comfortable with it. I am not married. I don't have any kids and assets. She picked 15 years pay Whole Life. Let me explain this more. This policy is a 15 pay life. After 15 years, the policy will be paid off and there will be interest and cash value paid into the policy. Interest rate is 3.5% or more based on economy. Interested earned on this policy is tax deferred soI don't have to pay taxes on the money I earn! I was very informed during my interview!
