This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Kevin and his team of professionals are top notch. I had multiple quotes from all the main Generator companies in Houston to install a whole home standby generator, including: Generator Supercenter, A&A Genpro, Generator Power Systems and Blaze Generators. Blaze was the least expensive and by far the best and most thorough quote I received. Outstanding value for money. Kevin was honest, completely transparent, and gave me the sense that he wanted what was best for my home and my family, rather than just making a quick sale. He got me installed within a week or two (other places wanted me to wait 2+ months), and the crew he sent was first class. One nice thing about Blaze is that they do not contract out their installation work. They have five full-time crews that have all worked for them for years. They left my house and yard looking better than when they arrived! Everything was put back perfectly, which is pretty amazing when you consider the amount of work involved in installing a generator like this. Great install but completely have ghosted me for service are these guys still even in business?

The beginning process was great, but here's the twist I paid to have the fist maintenance check and now I can't even get them on the phone . So they charged me for this service and they are t available. It should be a crime for this. And I recently found out they told us Generac was giving a 10 yr warranty that even shows in our contract but that was a lie per Generac so now I have to buy an extended warranty on my own that will be very costly now . read more

Non responsive after the generator had been installed when maintenance is due which was paid for under the original purchase agreement. Had to call Generac directly to complain to get the work done. Now the 2 year maintenance is required and again no response for 3 weeks And counting! I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will also be contacting Generac Main Headquarters directly to complain once again. If you go to Google reviews you will see multiple complaints like mine where Blaze does not respond to requests for the maintenance to be performed which is paid for under the purchase agreement for the first two years. Blaze generators needs to be held accountable to their written agreements and perform the maintenance as required! read more

Kevin and his crew did a wonderful job installing my Generac generator about two years ago. Last year he performed the first maintenance. Since early 2025 I have been trying to call him to schedule the second maintenance, but no one returns my call or answers my email or answers my inquiry via their website. I really can't understand why someone from Blaze Generators doesn't contact me. If they don't want to do the maintenance, they should at least let me know. I thought they would always have my back especially if I needed them in an emergency, but I guess not! read more

Electrical work required to meet code is $1,400 in addition to the $4'400 for gas line redo. I had two reputable Electrical Generator Services companies and they both identified the same issues required per code. The city inspector that approved the work should have found these items. I am in League City, Texas. Don't know why it shows Ca as home area. read more

Things moved along.to have the initial install done however, communication was, and still is, terrible. According to other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing problem. After over a year from installation, we still have not recieved the extended warranty info and Generac has no record of it being submitted. The 2 years of maintenance that was included isn't helpful either since no one ever calls back for scheduling. Very disappointed in the lack of follow up read more

Five Star company! I highly recommend this company. I did a lot of research and got five bids. This company exceeded my expectations. Kevin R. was my first contact. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered all questions, very professional! The installer, Chuck, arrived on time, came with a crew of 4. They did an excellent job. Chuck explained everything wonderfully before he left. Everything was left neat. Call Blaze. You will be glad you went with them. Also, Warranty and Maintenance Plan was better than everyone else. I know Beryl hit Houston, but I have tried over 5 times to get a hold of Blaze Generators for an estimate on a whole house generator. Apparently, they either do not want or are able to handle new customers as they are over-loaded with their current customer base. They advertise on their website available 24/7 but for over a month and a half I have not received a response from them after two forms filled out via their website and three messages left on their phone. At least they can do is update their website as to the current situation, but then again, most companies don't bother with something like communicating to customers current business conditions that might affect them and in getting service. read more

I paid for a service contract with Blaze when they installed my generator. They won't return my phone calls, my texts or my emails. I can't get a hold of Kevin, and I had to pay another dealer to come out and service my generator. Today I looked and saw that Blaze is no longer listed as an official dealer on Generac's website. Blaze's owners are frauds. They sold me a 10-year warranty, but only registered a 5-year warranty. I had have a lawyer called Generac to get this resolved. Blaze pocketed the money for the extended warranty. They do not come out when they say they say they will for service. They leave you hanging. Avoid Blaze! read more

I had eleven proposals for a standby generator (Generac and Kohler). I chose Blaze Generators. I had numerous questions and probably was driving Kevin nuts! However Kevin was responsive, respectful, and professional. My Generac was installed within 3 days of my okaying the project and work was completed in a day. The team worked like a well oiled machine, were very professional, and cleaned up after themselves. Unlike all the other companies, Kevin asks for payment only after installation and you are satisfied with everything. How cool is that?! In addition, Blaze was the best price and best warranty. Since installation, we have had an outage and the generator worked beautifully. I guess you can say, I am very pleased and highly recommend Kevin and Blaze Generators! read more

I had a generator installed by the previous owner at my house. Blaze was able to come in and repair it to working condition despite me not being able to tell them any info. They were prompt and respectful of your time. The also provided options and honest reccomendations. I highly reccomend them and will return again of it ever breaks or if I need a new one. read more
