In 1/4/25 I returned and bought the same item above the same "on sale" price sign. The cashier rang up $19.95 plus tax. I said this item is on sale at $17.99. She summoned the manager and I walked with her to the item on the shelf. The manager tore off the "on sale" sign under the Guinness and said the sale expired 12/31/24. (as stated in small print on the sign.) No sorry. No apology. No offering to honor the sale price due to store error. (leaving a sale sign up for 4 days after expiration.) The cashier apologized when I purchased the item but the manager responsible for the sale sign did not. The Guinness was good but the poor customer service from the manager left a poor taste in my mouth.

Car didn't have a mask in it, I didn't think anything of it since IN lifted it's mask mandate. Manager told me he would not serve me and told me to turn around and walk out in an aggressive tone. Grade A douche and have heard similar stories of him being rude to customers. DONT FORGET YOUR MASK or they won't serve you. Place is a joke manager is a true asshole. Will never receive my money ever again. Could have approached the manner entirely different and I would still Be a customer.

I had time to kill in South Bend, Indiana, so I decided to walk around in the vicinity of my hotel…read moreand found a liquor store. I was like, OK, not sure why not. Blindly finding a liquor store in a small town while walking around aimlessly is always a blessing and good thing, I think. With that said, I arrived here around 6:30pm on a Sunday evening in late April 2024. The store was going to close around 8pm so I got in a good time to quickly look around and find something good. They had some good selections and a good range of brands to choose from. I wanted something quick and fun, while not having to look for a corkscrew to open a bottle. Last time I had to leave the bottle unopened in the hotel room since I couldn't open it. Not this time. I came across alcohol infused Arizona Ice Tea. The same Arizona Ice tea brand you find everywhere but now with alcohol. And so, I decided to make the purchase and got 2 cans. Not trying to go overboard with the alcohol but enough to celebrate what I have done recently in NE Indiana before leaving the area. Belmont Beverage is a clear winner since they have a lot of selection. The store isn't too large but large enough to have ample supply for anyone and everyone to purchase. Be prepared to show ID, but the guy at the counter asked me for my birth date verbally to verify my age during my time here. Standard process. For the most part though, my time here at most was 20 minutes. While I would have liked to sample other wines and beers here, I wanted something cold and easy enough to open without much effort. And of course, relatively inexpensive as well. The overall experience here at Belmont Beverage was quite cool and casual. I'm not sure that this place has air condition or not, but it is pretty spacious for a small corner store. They have a good amount of stuff for everybody to enjoy whatever they like to drink, chilled or chilled. The service here was pretty friendly and enjoyable. It was cool that, everything seemed reasonable pricewise. For the most part though, it was a nice place to visit. Had to grab some alcohol while on vacation. It was a block away from my hotel, so it was a good idea anyway. And so, if you are in the South Bend area And need alcohol for an event or just for personal consumption consider coming to the Belmont beverage liquor store. They almost always will have what you want and it's price fair for just about any liquor. You could possibly find. Anywhere. I didn't really mind the prices that much because I was on vacation, but I do love a good bargain anyway. And so, recommended if you love booze or just want to drink socially. And if you are addicted to this kind of stuff, drink responsibly. Please. Belmont beverage liquor store is located in South Bend Indiana. It's physically located at 254 N Dixie Way, South Bend. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. On this trip to the liquor store, I did the cash option because I just wanted to. As far as parking goes, I'm not sure, but you can find parking on the street where you can find it. Then, walk on over. For myself, though, I basically walked over from the nearby hotel. I was staying at, so it was very convenient for me. They had a very limited supply in the refrigerator in the store, but best bet is to get whatever you want and chill it for later. I'm not sure if it is lower price if it's not chilled versus chilled, but I assumed it may be the case. I must have spent 10 minutes walking around and five minutes making up my mind before grabbing something quick and easy from the refrigerator. They do offer a nice selection of wines and beers in South Bend. Thankful that they were near the hotel I was staying in so that I would have something nice during dinner on my last night in Indiana before going home. The ambiance at Belmont Beverage was nice and quiet. There was only a couple of people shopping besides me when I came in. Don't know if there was any real air conditioning or WiFi available. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Location, ambiance, service, and prices. Support local! A+

Just popped in here for my first time. About to have some brews and a late-Thanksgiving Weekend…read moredinner with my in-laws. Been coming to Mishawaka for years but never stepped in yet. I'm a guy who loves to try craft beers and constantly seeks new beers. Glad to know what this place is about. Organized store. Spacious and clear layout. Lots of unique beers. Would overall recommend. However, I'm giving it a mid-range score because of one factor that I hold in great regard. They've got a wide mixed-pack selection area where you can a la carte your beer. I'm not even sure you have to buy six since they each have their own prices. Singles pricing seems a bit high on some, but I understand it's not easy to get beers from around the Midwest and beyond. However it's very disappointing to see so many of them have been well past their enjoy by date. Those who don't have an enjoy by date have a canned date of 8-12+ months ago. Call me picky, but beer changes after sitting on a shelf for six months. So when I see a beer bottled in August 2017, and we're a few weeks before 2018 Christmas... I'm not spending money on that. I got excited seeing that beer too, only realize the year was last year and not this year. Ultimately I found a couple of 3 Floyds Brewing Company beers that were just six packs by themselves. Brewed just in the last few weeks. Fresh beer. Nice. Pricing for those was sufficient. Will return. Will probably look at that one section again hoping for change. If anyone from the store reads this, please review that mixed pack region and purge old beers. I'd hate to see them wasted too but come on.. they're dusty, and old, and nobody wants them.
