He did several things as president that had a great influence on our country today. His childhood home is also on the grounds if you're interested. Don't confuse this spot with the LBJ ranch about 14 miles away. This is a very flat pleasant 1 mile hike through open pasture that has some longhorns, horses, a barn, the old cabin, etc. Things are preserved as part of the national park system, and there are a few information signs to let you know the history of the spot. Perhaps the most amusing thing to me was the sign warning, "Longhorns are dangerous" or something such as that. Now you might say, "What is so damn amusing about that?" Well, after the Rodeo Lagarita (http://www.yelp.com/biz/rodeo-lagarita-san-francisco#hrid:Vy__bRH77fu2__2ZwXzCfg) experience seeing a bull maul a rider, followed the next day by my run-in with a bull near Los Altos (http://www.yelp.com/biz/los-altos-de-eros-san-francisco#hrid:M5uFMaTCnVMkQ01JHcXxOw), the sign just rang true and amused me!

Came here with my husband & kids and our service dog in training for my disabled husband. She politely let us know that we couldn't bring him in because we didn't have proof. I'm not one to argue so I said that's okay and went and sat outside while my husband & kids went and explored. She came out about 10 mins later to talk to me and was like, "I just researched and you're absolutely right you do not need to have any proof so you're more than welcome to come in with him." Of course she wanted us to just be mindful of his behavior which I absolutely understand and luckily he's such a great well behaved dog. This cemetery is located directly on highway US 290 between Dripping Springs and Johnson City TX…read more It was established in 1857 and there are several hundred graves on the property which is about three or 4 acres in size. Despite many old headstones, there are some recent interments here making this an active cemetery. There are quite a few family plots here with the same names. This is a well cared for, orderly cemetery with several large oak trees providing shade. There's also a gravel lane running around the perimeter where you can park. I was surprised to see that they have a porta potty on the property. This would be a peaceful place in the country if it weren't for the noise of US 290. There's still some space on this property for future interments if you would like to make this your forever home.

We were greeted by a staff member at the door as we were climbing the step and taken to the Speakeasy Tasting Room. I opted for the Red Wine Tasting and my husband opted for the Sweet White Tasting. Service and conversation were good. My husband loved his Sweet Whites. Unfortunately for me, the reds didn't meet my love for BIG BOLD Reds. The red wines were very light and the first 2 too tart for my liking. Everyone has their personal preference. It was definitely worth stopping. Tastings were normally $20 per person and we had purchased Wine Lovers Celebration passport for a couple at $100. If you haven't tried the Texas Wine Passport, it is worth the money.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Freedom Fun and the incredible team they sent to support…read moreour event. From the very beginning, working with Nina was an absolute pleasure. She was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me find exactly what I needed for our event. Her professionalism, flexibility, and willingness to help made the planning process seamless, and I truly appreciated how easy she was to work with. What really sets Freedom Fun apart, however, is the quality of their people. While setting up for our event, I suffered a very serious accident that resulted in a significant injury and severe bleeding. In those frightening moments, Isaac, DJ, and Adam immediately sprang into action. They did not hesitate for a second. Remaining remarkably calm under pressure, they took control of the situation, did everything they could to stop the bleeding, and stayed focused until emergency responders arrived. Their quick thinking, composure, and genuine concern for my well-being made all the difference during one of the scariest moments of my life. What impressed me most was not only how capable they were, but how compassionate and caring they were throughout the entire ordeal. They stayed with me, reassured me, and handled an incredibly stressful situation with maturity and professionalism far beyond their years. Freedom Fun should be extremely proud to have employees like Isaac, DJ, and Adam representing their company. Their actions demonstrated outstanding character, teamwork, selflessness, and a level of care that I will never forget. Thank you, Nina, for being so wonderful to work with, and thank you to Isaac, DJ, and Adam for stepping up when I needed help the most. I am deeply grateful to all of you and would highly recommend Freedom Fun to anyone looking for a company that not only delivers great service but is staffed by truly exceptional people.
