My daughter's dryer died so went to Blanca's for a good used replacement. All used dryers in the store looked rough and were brands I would normally avoid, but for $250 settled on a Samsung. Hooked it up and it would only run for 5 minutes before shutting off. I took it back to the store the lady kept blaming me for one of the preexisting dents. Swapped it for an equally rough-looking Maytag. Hooked it up and it would run but never get hot. Returned to the store AGAIN, and again she blamed me for preexisting dents on THAT dryer! Said 2 dryers in 2 days, the problem must be in the wiring of the house. Checked breaker and voltage at the outlet...all fine. When I pushed for her to show me video of the dryers condition when leaving the store, or to test run the faulty Maytag, she said she would refund my purchase since I would just keep damaging the dryers. Purchased a washer and dryer from them, unfortunately, the warranty expired after 60 days, and issues on the washing machine arose on day 62. Despite the problem occurring just outside the warranty period, they refused to offer a repair or replacement which I would've paid for. Exercise caution when making purchases from them. I bought a refrigerator from Blanca's it was brand new.. plastic was still on it. I got it home and it didn't work. Luckily with it being brand new it was under warranty and I called Samsung to have them come out to fix it. The compressor fan was the issue.. but why was a brand new refrigerator's compressor fan not working? well according to the service guy it was obvious from the inside that the refrigerator had been DROPPED. I would think after dropping an expensive appliance you would at least plug it in and make sure it still works. (Also my sister bought a couch and it is already coming apart at the seams less than 4 months later). read more
