Found Blam Motorwerks while searching Porsche Indy shops for my '22 Cayman GTS service interval. Initially impressed by previous customers reviews, and professional shop. Met Bryce while dropping off vehicle. We spent a few moments both answering questions and getting acquainted. My Service experience at Blam was exceptional! Especially in this day and age of automated and poor customer service everywhere. Actually looking forward to seeing my new mechanic again. Thank you Bryce. read more

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Blam Motorwerks. They recently performed an oil change and repaired the A/C on my 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera S, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. What really stood out was the shop cleanliness, attention to detail, and unreal knowledge of Porsche cars. The cost was extremely reasonable as well! It's obvious that they take tremendous pride in their work and genuinely understand what these cars mean to their owners. Every aspect of the service was handled professionally, carefully, and with a level of attention I've never experienced at other shops. I truly appreciate the care that was taken with a special car like my 993. A special shout-out to Bryce, the owner, for running such a first-class operation. His knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to doing things right really sets Blam apart. I highly recommend Blam Motorwerks to anyone looking for a shop they can truly trust with their Porsche. The shop is secure, and out of sight, which is an added bonus. I drove here from Torrance, and wouldn't trust my car to any other shop. My 993 will be serviced exclusively by Blam Motorwerks. Give them a go! You won't be disappointed. read more

First time experience and the team at Blam is awesome. It was time for 2024 Porsche 2 year service at 8k miles. Originally went to a Porsche dealership and service experience was terrible. Porsche dealership quote seemed excessively high and when I asked for a breakdown of costs, they would not provide the details. When I challenged generic service items listed that were not on Porsche 2 year maintenance guide and seemed like extra, the dealership refused to acknowledge it. I left and did research and found Blam. My experience at Blam was completely the opposite of the dealership and the best experience. Detailed quote was provided digitally before I arrived. Transparent pricing and the price was significantly less than the dealership for the exact same list of services - minus the made-up service items the Porsche franchise dealership included. The Blam team was professional and service was outstanding. I received a video walk through of my vehicle and service summary . They provide a 2 year warranty on all services and it's reported to Carfax for records. Appreciate Blam and recommend Blam to all Porsche owners for service. read more

If you're a Porsche owner, classic or current, you need to have Blam in your contact list. The owner, Bryce, whose list of accomplishments and accolades can be found on his desk and wall, speaks volumes about the passion and dedication he has to being the best technician. It takes years to become GOLD certified as a Porsche technician (directly from Porsche Cars N.A.) and Bryce is not only gold certified but he has his classic certifications - all to the highest levels. What I value about Bryce is that he's truly passionate about cars and fixing problems. Often times you visit a dealership and you talk to the after sales department and they take your car, however, the people behind the glass (actually working on your car) you don't interact with.. and most of them are not as excited to work on cars or treat your car as it's their own. Not with Bryce. You can tell by how he maintains his shop. Super clean floors, clean aesthetic, tools all in place. He takes a lot of pride in his shop and his work which shows. I have a 1963 356 as well as a Cayenne Diesel, both of which I have already taken over since he opened. Having formerly worked for Porsche (corporate, not a dealership), I'm very particular on who works on my vehicles. Although I have great connections at the dealership level, and can recommend those, I prefer having Bryce right in my backyard who can get anything done whilst also explaining things to me if needed, works hours the dealerships don't, and I know every time I leave his shop my car is SAFE and I won't have to return for the same issues (I've unfortunately had a lot of dealer issues regarding my oil changes because it's different on a diesel). If you need service or curious to go check out his shop I'd highly recommend to stop by, meet Bryce and see for yourself how different he is as a technician because he's so much more than that. He's genuinely a Porsche purist and enthusiast who treats every car like it's his own. read more

The only shop I'll ever trust with my 993! I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Bryce and the team at BLAM Motorwerks on my 1997 Porsche 911 (993) Carrera S--and let me tell you, this shop is in a league of its own. From the moment I stepped into Bryce's immaculate garage, I knew I had found someone truly special. The space is a reflection of his work: organized, thoughtful, and filled with passion for the craft. Bryce treats every vehicle with a level of care and precision that's rare to find these days. He approached my 993 with the kind of attention to detail you'd expect from someone working on their own dream car. Throughout the entire process, Bryce kept me informed with detailed updates and videos--something that made the experience even more exceptional. His communication is clear, open, and honest. At every turn, I felt like a valued friend, not just another customer. What impressed me most was the range of work Bryce was able to take on--engine work, clutch repair, CCU and radio upgrades, and even a shifter enhancement. Each improvement was handled with precision and passion. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Bryce work on my car. His dedication, integrity, and craftsmanship are second to none. Without question, BLAM Motorwerks is the only place I'll ever take my 993 again. Thank you, Bryce and the BLAM team--you've earned a customer for life. read more

I recently brought my 2018 Porsche 718 Cayman to Bryce at Blam Motor Werks for its major 6-year service, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience from start to finish. As a longtime Porsche owner, I've dealt with both dealerships and independent shops, but Bryce sets a new standard when it comes to professionalism, expertise, and overall customer experience. First and foremost, Bryce's knowledge of Porsche vehicles is second to none. He clearly has a deep-rooted understanding of the entire lineup--from vintage air-cooled models to the most modern 992s and everything in between. Before any work even began, he took the time to walk me through what the 6-year service would entail, which components would be inspected or replaced, and why each item was important for the longevity of the car. He didn't just rattle off a list--he educated me in a way that showed he genuinely cares about keeping these machines running at their best. The pricing was completely transparent and extremely fair. Unlike many shops or dealerships that tack on unnecessary services or vague fees, Bryce was straightforward from the start. He broke down the costs for parts, labor, and optional services in a way that made sense, and there were absolutely no surprises when I got the final bill. In fact, for the level of quality and precision he offers, I'd say his pricing is more than reasonable. The facility itself is spotless and welcoming, which says a lot about the level of care and attention to detail Bryce puts into his work. From the moment you step into Blam Motor Werks, it's clear that this is a place where high standards are the norm. The workspace is organized and clean, which reflects not only professionalism but also a deep respect for the vehicles being worked on. Customer service was phenomenal throughout the process. Bryce communicated with me consistently, providing timely updates on how the service was progressing and letting me know when parts arrived or when the car would be ready. He even sent photos during the work to keep me in the loop. That level of transparency is rare and truly appreciated. What really stood out to me was how efficiently Bryce works without compromising quality. He had my car ready right on schedule, and everything--from fluid changes to belt replacements--was done with expert precision. You can tell he's passionate about his craft and takes pride in delivering top-tier results for every customer, whether you're driving a base Cayman or a GT3. It's rare to find a technician who combines deep technical knowledge, honest pricing, stellar communication, and a clean, welcoming environment--but Bryce at Blam Motor Werks checks every single box. If you own a Porsche and want to skip the inflated dealership rates without sacrificing quality, this is the place you want to go. Highly recommend Bryce and Blam Motor Werks. He's earned my business for years to come, and I'll be recommending him to every Porsche owner I know. read more

Another trendy overpriced Porsche shop... is what I expected this to be and I couldn't have been more wrong. Bryce's previous tenure at a Porsche dealership gave him the insight, repetition, as well as the expertise needed to go above and beyond what I expected. He is a one man show and although everyone is looking on expanding and growing to maximize profits, Bryce puts his personal touch and attention to every vehicle coming into his shop. The shop is new and his pricing is far below what one would expect his caliber of workmanship to be. I can't give higher praise. read more

Bryce is great! I've been taking my Porsches to the same mechanic for a few decades. unfortunately they are retiring soon and they are about 45 min away from where I live. I hadn't planned on looking for another mechanic but when I saw BLAM open and got to meet Bryce in person, I knew he was my future mechanic. Having a relatively young guy who knows so much about Porsches and has certifications that very few mechanics have made me feel comfortable. i like that I can grow with Bryce throughout the years. I mean if he can work on a Carrera GT and 918, my 911s should he simple. The process was seamless. Incredible communication and documentation with videos and photos made me understand everything he was doing. There was no sales pressure at all. The last mechanic I went to was excellent and I loved how clean their shop was. Blam is no different. You could eat off the floors and I believe that shows the level of care and pride Bryce takes in his work. I recently had my water-cooled and air-cooled cars serviced. I'd highly recommend Bryce and Blam to any porsche owners looking for a high quality experience with a cool guy who will soon become a friend. thanks Bryce! read more

This place is awesome. You can tell Bryce takes immense pride in his business right when you walk in. Never seen a service shop so clean! Lots of 911s of various vintages - good first impression. I drove down from LA for Bryce replaced the clutch disk, flywheel, pressure plate, and associated bearings/seals on my 2011 911. He was transparent throughout the whole process and scheduled me for a time that he could actually complete the work on my car within a reasonable timeframe. It's quite rare to find a shop nowadays, who repair what they say they can repair, within the quoted timeframe. He also waited around his shop for man hour and a half to wait for me to arrive from LA (Traffic!) on a Friday afternoon. BLAM Motorwerks' shop is extremely clean, organized, and well decorated, and I highly recommend them for liquid cooled Porsche repairs! read more

Great experience and overall service with Bryce at Blam. He serviced my 718 Cayman and was super smooth throughout the whole process. Bryce is very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate on his craft. He broke down all my service requests for my 6-year service and answered every question I had. He's a great guy to talk to, and provided excellent communication. The shop is very clean (the cleanest shop I've ever seen), and is on time with his turn around times. He provides great text updates and was super clear with the overall status of my car. No need to go to the stealership when you get more affordable and better service with Bryce at Blam Motorwerks. I will definitely look to come back, and bring my car here for life hopefully. read more

I met Bryce from BLAM at a Porsche networking event. I'm an avid Porsche owner and have/had a full range of 911's including aircooled and GT cars. My aircooled in particular has been very troublesome as is the nature of these 40+year old German machines. Bryce enthusiastically accepted the challenge of working on it earlier this year. Long story short after a couple visits I can confidently say Bryce repaired my 911SC completely and expertly. When it was time for this year's annual service on my 992 I decided to bring it to Bryce at Blam vs the Porsche dealership. Those who know me will tell you how picky and OCD I am with my cars and this was exactly the person that I was looking for to entrust my 992 with. The shop is beautiful and immaculate and the attention to detail is beyond anything Porsche dealerships ever provided. Bryce walked me through all my questions I had and explained exactly what was needed and what was recommended. His knowledge is evident and clearly Porsche is his passion like us owners.
