An okay spot to dine if you're staying at the hotel due to convenience, but I wouldn't recommend it…read moreif you're not. There were plenty of tables available when we came on a Friday night, however, we were assigned a pager and asked to wait about 15 minutes. I believe it was because they didn't have enough servers, which is probably why service was also slow once we were finally seated. The food is alright. I would recommend the chile relleno burger wrapped in a flour tortilla. It was very good but also very messy to eat. The surf & turf special they have on Fridays was meh. The steak had lots of gristle and wasn't very seasoned. They also have a prime rib special on Saturdays, but we didn't come the following night.

Turquoise Trail Bar & Grill "hands down" the best choice within the casino for dining. A shame…read morethey've gotten such negative feedback as our experience was not! We were staying one night at the hotel and decided to have dinner here based on the other two locations Turquoise Trails menu seemed to fit more along the lines of what we were wanting. Happy with our decision from start to finish. It was during the weekday (Wednesday) , so it wasn't too busy and we were seated right away when we arrived just before 6 PM. Sat at the bar. Our server & bartender was very friendly and attentive. Believe his name was Ronnie. He kept our glasses filled, was super attentive and professional. Started with their salsa that is served with fresh corn tortilla chips. Salsa was extremely unusual, served warm, consistency great, tasted good, but could have had much more heat. Decided on their "special" that evening which was a 10 oz strip streak and fries for $17.99. Absolutely worth it! It came with a deliciously fresh chimichurri sauce that was amazing & tasted just like I'd make it at home. The fries were good and requested them extra crispy which they also were. Pleased with our experience & couldn't believe that the prices were so reasonable- plus the efficiency of service and staff. If travel through the area again we will definitely be back! *Note: Can be a little confusing in finding; FYI it's located downstairs.

It's a cute place, very spacious with bright pink walls and a yellow mariposa on the left-hand side as you enter and bright orange walls on the right hand side, where all the paletas and other goodies are stored. They have the usual flavors (mango, mango con chile (mango with chile), fresas y crema (strawberries and cream), aguacate (avocado), pepino con chile (cucumber with chile), chicle (bubblegum), pistache (pistachio), oreo, ect as well as some ones I haven't seen before - zahanoria con crema (carrot and cream), papa dulce (sweet potato), lechera (sweetened condensed milk).. You can add chocolate and chopped nuts (at an extra charge) to your paleta si quiere. The paletas are pretty small, maybe 3.5 inches tall and they are priced at $3 each. Usually when I got for paletas, the prices range from 1.60 (Albuquerque International District) to 2.75 (Roseland, California) for a 5 or 6 " paleta, so adding chocolate felt a bit too extravagant comparatively. On to the taste review: We got piñon (con crema), pistachio (con crema también), jamaica (hibiscus) and my mom asked for limón con chile but she got fresa lemonada con chile instead. To be fair my mom doesn't speak Spanish so there could have been a miscommunication as the lady behind the counter mostly asked us in Spanish what we wanted. Altogether our order was 12.95 with tax for 4 paletas sin chocolate o nuez. Piñon was piñon-y in a piñon coffee sort of way. It was very creamy and sweet. The pistachio unfortunately peeled at the corner in the freezer and was a little freezer tasting at the end according to my dad. The fresa lemonada could have used more chile because the chile pooled at the very end of the paleta and was not mixed throughout. Finally, the jamaica was pretty sweet and not tart and flavorful like I would have expected. Overall, nice interior, cooling AC, and good service, but a miss on flavor and price. Might stop in again on a roadtrip for the carrot and papa dulce but would not go out of my way for these paletas. If it's on your way and you'd like something cold and want to support a local business stop in, but don't expect to be blown away.
