If you're even a few minutes late, they immediately reschedule you for another six weeks because their schedule is packed. There's no effort to compromise or work with you. One time I came late because I accidentally thought my appointment time was different, and they still pushed me out another six weeks. This has happened multiple times over the years, and it's very frustrating to wait that long just for being a few min late.

By this point I was feeling overwhelmed and told her I did not feel comfortable continuing this conversation. I gave her feedback about how her approach made me feel and she responded defensively. When I tell them they are going to the dentist they get so excited. Dr. Sakhi is gentle with the kids and speaks to the parents after in a gentle manor. She lets me know what to look for that could be problems, and also let's me know when I shouldn't worry. I've been in love from the beginning, I was able to go in on my son's first appointment. When my daughter started she got to lay on the chair with her brother to feel comfortable. The waiting space is open and warm. The rooms are magical with clouds etc. Even the bathroom is cute. We love it here.

Recently changed to a different dentist because I did not care for the way the dentist spoke to me…read more Quite curt and borderline rude. Also she filled 2 cavities for my kid and at her follow-up appt said that the cavities are still growing despite us brushing and flossing everyday. I don't feel the cavities were filled correctly. She is offered no treatment other than silver diamine which is expensive, isn't covered by insurance and although she never mentioned this, after my own research it apparently needs to be redone every 6 months or so. She could've refilled the cavities at her expense or taken the time to explain the option a bit more instead of handing me a handout on my way out the door. I've had probably 15 cavities in my lifetime and never had a reoccurring cavity the very next appointment. So based on my personal experience with previous dentists over the course of my lifetime, and my personal experience at this office over several visits, I don't feel this one is up to par with communication, customer relations or care. No reason to stick around. I'm sure they will try to explain away this as they have the previous reviews instead of accepting responsibility for anything, or saying that's my perception of the events so let's have it.

Our youngest daughter age 8 just began phase 1. We couldn't be happier with the care and expertise provided. From the moment we walked in, the staff was extremely welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. This definitely helped to put my younger daughter at ease, as she has some dental anxiety. The office is child friendly offering games in waiting room. Again, helping to alleviate some of the anxiety she had about the appointment. The front desk office staff also made every effort to accommodate our busy schedules, which I appreciated. Dr Carr and her dental assistant took the time to thoroughly explain the treatment and procedure before we began. All of our questions were answered with clarity and patience. We were to begin phase 1 of treatment with our youngest. Before we began, Dr Carr showed us a simulation of how the teeth would move during phase 1 of treatment. This was AMAZING! Phase 1 would help make room for the permanent teeth to come in properly. Phase 2 would complete any corrections to the bite or alignment needed after all the permanent teeth came in. This would help to prevent the need for permanent teeth removal like I had when I was a teenager. Again... AMAZING! It is clear Dr Carr and her team pay attention to every detail and are committed to providing the best personalized care. Through the treatment with our older daughter, we noticed significant improvements with her smile. Her classmate's parents often commented on how nice and straight her teeth looked. She will start phase 2 in the near future. I can't wait to see the same changes with my youngest. We highly recommend Dr Carr and her team. Their professionalism, expertise and genuine care sets them apart. I truly believe they are the best orthodontists in the Twin Cities!
