Tea, coffee, hot choc and biscuits were provided. The bathroom had been recently refurbished. However the water took AGES to come warm through the taps and shower, and the shower head was already missing a few jets due to limescale. Breakfast is included, but only served until 9.30am, which we thought was a bit painful on a Sunday morning after an evening at a wedding! We had tea and coffee in the bar at about midday while waiting for out taxi, which the owner gave us FOC, so that was nice. The biggest problem is that the hotel has NO parking. There is street parking outside the front, which is free after 6pm, but if you arrive earlier than this, or want to leave after 8am on any day except Sunday, you're a bit stuck. We left out car at the wedding venue, and got a very reasonably priced taxi to pick it up in the morning. If you are going out in the evening, and will be coming home late, we found it very funny to be given a key to get back into the hotel, which is actually the front door key to the pub! Gives a new meaning to mini-bar!

With that into consideration, I suppose I can't really complain about how convenient is. After all, it is in a fantastic location right in the Cwmbran Shopping Centre. However, there are negative bits. ~ Location: As mentioned before, the location is fantastic. It is just in the Cwmbran Shopping Centre, so it could make for a pretty full trip out. There's plenty of restaurants and shopping to do nearby, so when heading to the cinema, you can quite easily make a day of it. ~ Customer Service: I've had no problems with the customer service here. Everyone I've interacted with has been very friendly and welcoming. The main reason why I'm not a huge fan is purely because the size of the place is extremely lackluster. This cinema is very limited in terms of what films are shown and sometimes there would even be very popular films you are keen to see, but not shown at all so you have to head elsewhere. For instance, I wanted to watch How to Train Your Dragon 2, which you would think would be quite popular with kids especially, but Vue just completely neglected to have it on schedule. Instead, they opted for really obscure features such as random recordings of theatre performances. If you're planning to make a trip to the cinema with a specific film in mind, I highly recommend checking out the Vue website for Cwmbran specifically just to make sure it's showing. Otherwise, you might be in for a very disappointing surprise!
