Super Painting's quote was among the best, and the reviews were universally very good, so we chose William and his crew. They did a great job on the stucco and wood prep, and answered all of our questions and took care of all concerns. In particular all three did a fantastic job stripping the paint off of our original front door down to the original wood, which ended up looking a lot nicer than even buying a new one. When it was all said and done, we were super happy with how it turned out, and would not hesitate to recommend Super Painting to our friends.

Why I chose them: - Clearest estimate of the bunch. Scope, prep steps, and paint product (Sherwin-Williams Duration) were all in writing. - License and insurance docs sent right away. - Fair price. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but well worth it for work done right. And they did it right. No surprise charges at the end. - 3-year written warranty. The job: - Power wash, scrape, patch, primer on all the wood, then 2 coats. Not sure if the owner just doesn't care anymore or what happened but it was the biggest nightmare I've ever dealt with doing updates to my home! I would strongly advise against doing business with this company. The work quality is extremely poor, and you may end up spending significant time chasing them to address issues. There were multiple days when they didn't even show up, and they left trash--including beer cans and bottles--scattered around. Their work is sloppy; paint was dropped on floors and furniture, and they didn't take the time to remove blinds, nails in walls or cover light switches and outlets properly, they just painted around them. They damaged furniture and provided no reimbursement for it. The owner tries to steer clients toward Google reviews rather than Yelp, which raises questions about the authenticity of the feedback. Additionally, employees disclosed to us that other clients are reportedly suing due to similar issues, and the company often requests cash payments, because dissatisfied clients have stopped payment via checks or credit cards. Stay away! It was a nightmare dealing with them. I actually had them leave before the job was done because it was such a nightmare seeing how much damage they were doing.
